Kain is probably the most violent.
You can go to www.lineage2.com and head into the forums. Stickied in each server forum are server personality profiles so you can get a hint of what each server is like.
Teon is more populated than Bartzs. It's on full at least 90% of the time even in the early hours. However, Bartzs is still very populated and for you would seem better as it's a US server whereas Teon is Euro .
Teon - very populated Bartzs - very populated Franzs - very populated Erica - very low population
Rest are probably high to near enough dead population wise.
Thanks for all the replies... I rolled a mystic on Devianne... I probably should have looked at the official forums to find out the politics beforehand though but the way I picked it was it had a low ping...
I think I've only seen 2 other people in the 3 days I've been playing...
Dont' worry to much about the amount of people you see over a 3 day period, your still mostly in the newbie areas and you'll start to encounter more players between 20 and 30, then alot more between 30 and 40. If you ever feel the need, take a walk to Giran and you'll get an idea what your in store for shortly.

I also play on Devianne. I have been here for a while now. Been leading a clan for over 2 years. (What a time sink this game is!)
What's your in-game name? I'll invite you to my academy. I also have some top-notch newbie gear I can loan ya! And when you hit 20, we'll get you that Oath Armor set (not bad for a ten minute quest and minimal D crystals).

Thanks, I'll take a look at it... do you happen to know any sites with good guides/tutorials...? I've checked out all the links in the sticky at the top of this forum but I still can't find the information I'm looking for... If I don't find some good sites soon I'll have to resort to asking stupid newbie questions on this and/or other forums! heh

Pick any server you like... they are mostly empty now anyway
