Tahiti Nui Interactive are hosting a new RYL1 server, its gonna be free to play with an Item Mall system.
The game is still in beta and currently running the old NA RYL1 version, its abit laggy and lonely ingame atm,
but should be fixed soon hopefully.

If you are looking for a great FREE fast paced action 'hack and slash' mmorpg, then this is your chance
to be with us from the beginning! A must try for the hardcore pvp gamer. Totally free movement, not like
those "mouse point click move, auto attack, no jumping games" makes this game a very fun MMORPG.

    Thats pretty cool, RYL 1 was a lot better then RYL2. but in what country is it hosted? I don't know of anybody who uses .pf

    .pf? Sounds like a trap lol. I don't know. RYL, the first one was good till they community fell and they raised greedy and even GM's. It was crazy.

    RYL2 is free and Laggy!With Lagg is not so Fun!!
    What u say a bit laggy that sound snot good and i do PVP in Ryl 2 and iam very annoyed of this Laggs.
    Ur enemy Jump arround u and Laggs ud dont can hit him and thats shit!!

    I'll try again..

    Its not a trap, I believe TNI bought the NA RYL1 rights of Planetside Games and maybe Youxiland.
    Its an official host, not one of those crappy private servers.

    Waaay back when RYL1 was in Open Beta in MY and NA, the game and community was AWESOME. I only played the MY OB for about 3 months, untill I heard of the NA version, so I dont really know how the MY community evolved. However, I believe the NA community fell, because Youxiland didnt give PwG much freedom (Actually, I think they were more or less only allowed to translate the game and patches, not code anything by themselves), everything had to be approved by Youxiland, which sometimes felt like it took a lifetime. A very slow process. There was alot of other reasons also of course, but this was one of the main reasons as to, why I started loosing faith.

    TNI is very laggy atm, especially if you dont live in Tahiti. But they are getting a satalite connection update very soon, which should make the game less laggy and more enjoyable. They are also planning on getting cables laid undersea, which should improve the connection even more.

    I believe and hope this version is gonna be atleast just as successfull as the NA RYL1 Open Beta was, with an awesome community and great 150 Kr vs 150 Mk ++ battles in the Arena, and alot of raids on both races islands, less bugs/exploits and a more steady connection. Imagine how fun thats gonna be, not to mention its gonna be free to play :D

    Its gonna take some time to get there of course.
    You guys can help by signing up for their Open Beta at http://www.ryl.pf/ and start forming a strong and friendly community. After all in the end, its the community that makes an MMO game great.

    You can still gain 5-10 lvls a day after you reach level 50-60, you just need the right party ;)

    hm.. this game seems pretty cool and my computer is old..i've been hearing alot about lagness in this game

    is it really laggy? or is it the computers?

    Umm RYL is dead the game loses content once you hit max lvl, pvp system is basically who has spent more time getting bettere weapons and face it lvling was SO EASY i could pwr lvl a char to max lvl in less then a week pshh easier then wow 1-60

    This new one doesnt look very new Looks The Same

    First heard of RYL 1 when they had the big million dollar contest that turned into a big joke. Played RYL 2 long enough to realize it made Shadowbane look like a next generation masterpiece. They say everything comes in three's, so I guess that applies to crap, too.

    RYL2 IU had alot of Exp boosts / Bonanzas (Or whatever they called it) straight from the beginning to satisfy their casual costumers. The NA version RYL2 Pote kept the standard exp for a long time, you'd have to be in a full party to level fast, and once you reached level 80, you only got like 0.003% per pull.
    Anyway, about items.. true, the ones with the better items do have an advantage in both games, however one of the big differences between RYL1 and RYL2 is, that in RYL1 levels is more important then items, where in RYL2 items was more important then levels. In RYL2 it was common to see lowlevels with AAA+++++ items running around onehitting highlevels with only AA+++++ items.
    This was also one of the main reasons the old hardcore RYL gamers didnt like RYL2.

    Anyway, enough with the past and how other RYL hosts managed their game.
    This is about TNI's RYL: Unforgiven Wars.. No one knows how they are gonna manage their game, but I bet they arent gonna follow the footsteps of PwG, Youxi, CiB or whatever. Hopefully, they are gonna learn from the mistakes the other RYL hosts made, to make this version alot better then ever seen before.

    Hmm, ok. My bad. I must have only played 2 then. But if they shared the same graphics, no loss. And comparing it to Shadowbane was in no way meant to be flattering.::::02::

    Hmm if that not pirate server hmm ok.  But i still recomend  to go - > http://www.ryl.com.my/  that is f2p and 100% no pirate clone.

    that tahiti one, looks deserted. i've been playing for like 3-4 hours now and i've only seen like 2 ppl go past and one person shout. the whole place looks empty. but then mayb i'm in the wrong place.

    neway, gameplay looks alright. it is kinda laggy though but that may be because i'm in australia, or as said earlier, the server doesn't have a good enuff connection to handle the load.

    Yea that Thaiti version is super laggy and no players..

     
    Go http://www.ryl.com.my/  and open account Olympys server. Seems Athena server not have much active players.

    Remember, TNI's version is still in beta, the company have only just started hosting the game.
    Lets see.. this version is super laggy and pretty empty. True.
    I think the lag is, why the server is so deserted, it gets so frustrating, that people move on.
    The good thing about the game being super laggy atm is, that TNI is basicly forced to put this problem
    on top of their "to do list". Im positive that you can expect a fix for this shortly.

    The malaisian version has been there since like 2003/2004 ? And now their servers is full
    of hacked/dublicated items and cheaters. I wouldnt spend my time there, unless they made a server wipe, 
    and updated their anti-hack software.

    Ohh and btw, this version is 100% legal.. you would know that if Youxiland and Gamesoft bothered to update their website once in awhile.

    They wipe servers  and open new one Olympys & Athena 2006  Anti hack is same "GameGuard" what TNI use.

    Im not try say TNI versio is crap but its still too laggy for play. Hope they fix that soon and players who want play there can do it.

    Little word to say that TNI resolve the lag issue they have and player from US are playing with 105-150ms of lag and European player have less than 100ms.

    I think there is enough player in the world for all RYL server running. So if you want to start a new RYL adventure from the beginning, here is the link www.ryl.pf
