Virus protectors are stupid. I doubt it was the game that gave you the trojan, but maybe it was idk, I've never played DDO.

It amazes me how stupid some kids are on the internet. You obviously are not qualified to even run a computer. DDO did NOT give you a trojan or a virus.

I agree with you the trial does not downloads
you a trojan or something like that. I have downloaded the trial, 2
friends of mine did too and none of us had any problem with it, so
maybe you were downloading something that you did not notice at the
same time in wich you were downloading DDO's trial, or you did not like
the game at all and you posted to state that you hate it that bad that,
for you, DDO is equal or worse than downloading a trojan =P.

LOL.  What Virus Scanner do you use so we can be sure to avoid it.

It wasnt DDO that gave it to you, it was the websites you where viewing whilst DDO was downloading...

Like others have said, it was a false alarm.  Some antiviruses pop up false positives from time to time.

Just because its not a destructive virus doesn't mean there can't be data mining

Hmm - heard a story from a friend last friday.

He plays DDO and was browsing his guild web site. A guest poster put up a post suggesting a "cool link", and for one reason or another he decided to follow it.

It took him to a sex site which infected him with a trojan. Seriously pissed off my mate, since he is normally pretty careful about his surfing.

Maybe something similar happened to the OP?
