(b) Why is his title 'dev', he doesn't write a single line of code.  Based on his first response in that topic, shouldn't his title be 'Captain Patronizing' ?

    Why do they bother making those suggeston threads, knowing good and well that they aren't going to implement any of those ideas.

    I thought he was just a forum moderator, or am I mistaken?  If so, how would anything he has to say be representative of the direction or policies of the game?

    Exactly, he's a PR mouthpiece with as much decisionmaking power as the guy inside the foam head in Jack In the Box commercials .... although it's difficult to determine which is more of a fathead.

    I don't have any idea about these concepts in particular yet, but I do understand that so many of you are eager to get your beloved friends and pets back.

    i admit, i havn't read into all of these proposed new features (i know about CH, gardener... -.-...) but reading this out of context almost made me cry, i know it did on the inside >_>

    Purposeful deception designed to keep the hopes up of customers to keep them playing.  Thunderheart is the Chief Deceiver since he's been out there the longest posting things he knows won't happen.

    There are too many examples of SOE doing things like this, especially the SWG development group, to pretend like it's just a change in direction for the game.
