Sometime in the future after World Peace and the Aliens invade.

I think that is scheduled to happen in Q2 2007.

Best guess of mine would be mid 2007 (June/July). With all the beta give aways starting we can't be to many months off beta.

Wow, was this pushed back? It seems like the two games I was interested in(G&H is the other) were scheduled for the end of this year and then boom, now next year.

Well there was never a firm date for this year, and personally after E3 this year and hearing where they were upto I didnt see how it could possibly be delivered this year.

But now they seem to be ramping up the testing I guees it really depends on how long Beta testing goes for. so my expectation is maybe June next year. But hey what would I know I am just a person on the street who would like to play this game.

Until this comes out I have to finish Oblivion, NWN2, Guild Wars - Nightfall, and then early next year - hellgate london and Jade Empire (PC).

If they don't release it soon, there will be noone left to play it.

Or at least not enough to fill more than one or two servers. Theres too many "really nice" games due for release and as always..

I'm wondering when Age of Conan and Warhammer online are coming out - it's always good to make a game come nice and crisp for us but i'm sure it doesnt want to go under oblivion with those two big hitters coming - I'd like to see Tabula Rasa do something different or open up Console Market - I think Age of Conan is doing something like this

EB's date is in crappy American date format which means they actually have the pre-order as 1st June 2007. Not 6 January.

For once they have a date that seems reasonable.

By the time it will come to the release there is a 75% chance that they will run out of money. Its amazing they did not do so allready considering how they spend it.

If you actually read the release dates on online stores then..wel nvm, they are there to make suckers buy their game *NOW*

My guess late 2007 or early 2008...but if the design gets changed..who really knows except a CB tester.

I think it has been in development for close to 4 years..and the game design has been changed at least once..that is a lot of money to spend on a MMORPG that has to compete with WoW,L2,Vanguard and the other MMORPG's comming out next year.

Waaaaaaaaaay to much competition in the PC market when it comes to MMOs these guys need to get on xbox 360 NCsoft and Microsoft need to patch thing up - i mean it is garriots new company Destination so perhaps he should also be one of the leaders bringing MMOs to a console

Then we get all the people whinging why do they have to pay to play when they already pay for xbox live?

Besides - Huxley is going to be out on xbox 360 - so what more do you need?

Personally I find it far easier to play MMORPGs on a PC.

Run out of money? Are you kidding me. Tabula Rasa is being funded by NCsoft which is one of the largest Game companies in the world. I honestly doubt they will run out of money any time soon. Considering they have Lineage 1 and 2, City of Heroes and Villians, Auto Assault, and all of the guild wars. And that is just talking about the popular MMOs.

NCsoft has a ton of games in development so I doubt money is a real big concern. They have this game and Aion for two that I know right off of the top of my head.

So just before Christmas break we started with outside beta testerswhat we call "friends and family"[and] we've been slowly expanding a few hundred at a time. In the next build, we're going to be moving up to the point where we'll be bringing in thousands of people at a timeand pretty soon going to closed beta within a month or so, where we'll have hopefully tens of thousandsthen later in the summer to Open Beta where we have basically anyone who wants to play. So we're in that final push to launch at this stage. Tabula Rasa will come out this year. We don't have a public specific date yet, but definitely the light is at the end of the tunnel. We're tying up the loose ends and polishing it up so we can get it out the door

So 2008 is a no - 2007 is the year.
