Hey to all the GW fans, oooh i have one thing to say to all the haters of GW.....HELLO...anyway i brought GW:P and only got to play for about 4 hrs cuz my internet was disconnected...POO...can u pls tell me all the ups and downs about GW:P

Are you asking if there are people playing PvP? You wouldn't know... there are ALWAYS people playing. HUGE number of people actually.

I have no idea what your question is about PvP. Are you asking "How many PvP editions are there?", which would be the same number as chapters for Guild Wars (3 currently). Or, ar you asking "How many character classes are there?", and the answer to that is 10 total if you own all 3 games (6 classes in Prophecies, same 6 + 2 in Factions, same 6 + 2 new classes in Nightfall). And Zerand answered your question is it was "How many people play PvP?"

It also depends on what PvP arena/& regions you are playing in as well. In a "small random team arena" there are only eight players total, four players from each team. But if you play in the bigger arenas such as the Hall of Heroes or in a Guild vs Guild battle, the total amount of PvP are around 16+ players. Although I haven't gotten the new editions of Factions/Nightfall I believe the number of PvP players in those arena has increased? You also get heroes now in Nightfall to help you in arenas.

Team arenas and random arenas: 4 vs 4
Heroes Ascend (Hall of heroes): 6 vs 6
Guild vs Guild: 8 vs 8
Alliance battles (only for ppl with factions): 4+4+4 vs 4+4+4

GW itself is a great game because of all the ways you can play. The class/feat is perhaps the best I have seen in an RPG.

As for Prophecies specifically, I do not really like Pre-Ascalon itself as i find it rather borign but the rest of prophecies is nice. It has a lot of stuff to it when you consider all the high end areas like ring of fire and southern shiverpeaks. It has a rather gradual increase of level over the first part of the campaign. Some people prefer this as it strechtes the game out more. I personally do not like being low level in Guild Wars as typically it constrains the way I play and I prefer to have many skills as soon as possible.

However Prophecies, unlike the other campaigns, has skill quests that you can do and get a pretty large variety of skills before level 20 without paying money or skill points. So by the time you are halfway through kryta you really should have a lot of options.

I like it because it's fast and rewarding. And the PvP is the best so far in any MMO game. Allthough I am still waiting for Darkfal or Warhammer Online. Because I'm a sandbox fan. SWG refugee <
