It was the same way in AO as well, where the scenery, armor, weapons, etc. looked great, but the character models looked second-rate.  I think it's just a flaw.

I understand that this is just an opinion, nothing more but also surprised to hear it. Since AO for a long time could not accept the look and movement of character models in other games, because they looked and moved so unnatural (remember SWG, for example?) And here I was so happy to see again real movement and normal graphic, not grotesque in any way.

You may dislike it but keep in mind that many people see it completely different.

Definitely an improvement from previous videos.

I don't think I'll be trying it though. Not enough interest, and not enough money image

It's getting to the point where I'm not surprised at how good this game is looking. image

The mounting animation does look good, only it doesn't make sense when there is no saddle on the horse and yet it looks like he's using a stirrup to step up on the horse.  The trebuchet looks great and yet there is no rock or ammo in the cage and yet we see a flaming ball once it lands.  No visible trajectory takes a lot away from the experience of using a siege weapon.  May be minor deteails to some, but they break immersion for me.

With PvE raiding, it has never been a question of being "good enough". I play games to have fun, not to be a simpering toady sitting through hour after hour of mind numbing boredom and fawning over a guild master in the hopes that he will condescend to reward me with shiny bits of loot. But in games where those people get the highest progression, anyone who doesn't do that will just be a moving target for them and I'll be damned if I'm going to pay money for the privilege. - Neanderthal

Looks interesting. Free trials are a must, though.

FunCom has allready announced several times that all of their movies are 100% filmed in gameplay.. something like the old RedAlert films.

Unless players can fly it was not filmed in game play. Dev tools and level editors are not game play. God mode administrator clients are not game play. They may use the same engine, but may also have implemented features not available in the current working beta client. This can mean that the game is further behind in development than may be implied.
