Weird...

in Phantasy Star Universe
Ok I don't how to phrase this. I hope I did it right. When I walk around in the game, the pc skins (if that is what you call it) don't load quickly. You end up looking at this weird looking character that is either purple or blue. What's up with that?

    That happens sometimes.. it just means that the character model of of that particular player is taking a little while to load. It's not really anything big, just wait for a few secs and u should be able to see the person

    Any way to fix it? Since I am asking questions, another question could be how do I control the camera more easily.

    Try going into your System>Options>Camera Controles and puttin them in Reverse, instead of default. it helped me maintain control of the camera ALOT easier.

    Cool. Thanks for that. Another question could be how do I get more in depth about the story portion of the online mode. I might be doing missions but what are the reasons for them? That question can wait if anyone knows how to fix the character model loading problem.

    its not a problem, it just means there is a little lag with seeing them, or there is so many characters that it takes a little for them to load. If they stay that way, then i'm not really sure.

    Now that I've played the game for a while, I've realized that all the conjecture that was here was wrong, so I'm removing this.

    it was intentionally designed that way to lessen lag and meet system speces of the ps2.  If you're on pc you can go into the options, and under graphics options go to customiz then turn your High Lod models to 64 (max), that will make your computer load more models on the screen at once, but youll still see some purple and blues and depending on your specs it may take the game longer to load the models.

    There is no story on the online yet. We were given the online service with most of all the content that was promised, locked. For story, you'll have to wait. Supposedly it's to come with the next content unlock. Whenever that is (could very well be a month or more at the rate SOA is going).

    I've also noticed that but I don't think it's anything to worry about, it's just the way the game is designed.
