    What's ridiculous is that it's happened in more than one place!  Why does their have to be violence over video game consoles?  Seriously!

    There was a knock down drag out fight at one of the stores in my hometown. 3 people had to go to hospital.

    You want to know whats sadder then these morons fighting and dying over a game console? In 6 months they will be quite common IMHO.

    Want to know whats even sadder then that? That Sony is sitting up in their tall corporate buildings patting each other on the back and saying how this shows how great it is.

    I will tell you right now. Law makers need to make an example of this crap. Dont prosecute the people fighting. Prosecute Sony. The PS3 is clearly an incidment to riot. And last I checked that was illegal. Gauruntee you if they prosecuted Sony over this crap, no one else would do something this stupid.

    I agree with person above, Sony knew damn well what they were doing when they didnt make enough to fit the demand. If you reduce supply it will only help those who get them to sell them at a higher price. And if supply is too low this is the kind of stuff that happens. Sony knew exactly what they were doing and kept right on doing it.

    Only white people shoot someone but they are not dead. If ya really want a PS3, do drive buy and with some automatics, You can take out the whole damn croud. Put that on a peice of paper for the next shipment.

    Hahah, how on earth is a video game console an incitement to riot? As far as I know, it has no games or movies that encourage people to riot, and that would be kind of irrelevant since the 'riots' you're referring to took place with the game console in a box. Producing a valuable toy does not make you responsible if some idiot decides to fight over it. The people fighting are the ones who decided to fight, there's nothing illegal or immoral about Sony making PS3s in any given quantity, this whole line of argument is just stupid.

    Grow the Hell up, if you beat someone up it's your fault for beating them up.
