For awhile now i've been going back and forth between what class i wish
to play. Frankly I'm extremely bored of rogue that i played for quite
some time, and wished to reroll.
But i always end up choosing a
class and around level 20~ wanting to play something else for some
reason. i never really liked leveling but i really liked the end game
stuff i did with my friends, I'm just bored of rogue but having a hard
time choosing a class and sticking with it through the leveling phase.
driving me nuts, i wanted to be 60 again before BC

And people animals.. Alligators, cats.. bats, all the same..
edit: ad OP, try a druid or a hunter, funfun.
Played so far: 9Dragons, AO, AC, AC2, CoX, DAoC, DF, DnL, DR, DDO, Ent, EvE, EQ, EQ2, FoMK, FFO, Fury, GW, HG:L, HZ, L1, L2, M59, MU, NC1, NC2, PS, PT, R:O, RF:O, RYL, Ryzom, SL, SB, SW:G, TR, TCoS, MX:O, UO, VG, WAR, WoW...
It all sucked.
If you just want a fun class to play, I'm told Warlocks are the best. Otherwise, I'd even suggest playing on the other side of the struggle.

Groovy.
I just decided to see how a Shaman was, and I just eventually stuck with the character.
I originally played a hunter. I just loved the idea of Dwarves with guns.
Plus, all of the abilities you have as a hunter are great.
I've yet to get my hunter up much yet.
Groovy.
I love playing on my warlock which is currently lvl 35 but hunters are good too with all the pets to choose from.
While my hunter at 30 isn't near the level that my Lock is, I can still say that I really feel that the Lock is a lot more fun than my hunter is.
A lot of people fuss about soulshard management, but honestly it isn't all that bad. Considering that with a hunter you are out a bag for your ammo pouch / quiver and then a few bag slots for your pets meat, the Lock's shard management isn't as bad. While Feign Death is nice for the hunter, Soulstone works as a nice corpse run avoider once every 30 minutes, abeit you do take durability lose.
Sample Warlock play:
Select Mob #1
Send in minion
Throw CoA, Corruption, Immolate and Life Siphon on Mob #1.
Select Mob #2
Throw CoA, Corruption, Immolate and Life Siphon on Mob #2.
Fear Mob #2
If minion has lost aggro of Mob #1 fear it.
Then you can continue to fear / wand / etc.
This is a sample of just two mobs. It is not very uncommon that I will "fear" bounce four or maybe even 5 mobs at a time. Sure it isn't as effective as a Mage's AOE abilities and you have to always watch for potential aggroing of other mobs by the feared mobs.
While a hunter is able to take on elite mobs that are nearly red to them, they can only take on one such mob at a time. With a lock if you know the class and willing to burn a few pots and your healthstones you can take on two elites at the same time.
Hunters do have great DPS but if your pet loses aggro that DPS quickly drops at melee range. As well Hunters really can't take on multiple mobs anywhere in the same realm as what a Lock can.
I don't mean this as a diss on Hunters. They are a fun class. But Warlocks can be a fun class to, and the ability to juggle three, four or even five mobs of the same level or higher can get exciting. To me more exciting than focusing on a single mob like Hunters tend to do, and then hitting the Feign Death or Disengage button.

Shut your eyes, roll your mouse cursor around a little, and click on a class in the character creation screen.... then play it and make it work. You don't have a choice what you will look like when you are born; so do the same with wow. See if you can make it work... (the game is so easy, i'm sure you can), and that will add to the challenge of it all.
What talent spec did you go?
I have a marksmen hunter that can can on a whole group at a time.
You just have to know how to do that.
Sure, with hunters, you got a lot you really have to work on, especially with your pet, but when you have him all worked out, he's great.
Plus, when you hit 30, you get fain death, which is really helpfull.
Groovy.
The main thing I'm debaiting with now is Priest and Druid really, i dont really have much interest in being a warlock. I've played a shadow priest and it was fun, but i do like healing everynow and then, only thing I'd hate is when with a group and i wanna do something else, they'd want me to heal, and I know thatd what would be most beneficial to the group really
also blah all the way to 60 again ><
...In all honesty, I try to. But my character is a fighter. ( Full enhance.)
Druids are fun, though.
You can shapeshift. Which is fun AND really helpful. Especially when people try to use pollymorph or a snare on you.

no, kind of like pushing same buttons with different title above it. backstab, frostbolt, sunder etc., same buttons different role.
Tank: warrior
Healer: priest, druid, shaman/paladin (best to worse on healmeter with equivalent gear)
DPS: rogue, mage, warlock, hunter (best to worse on dpsmeter with equivalent gear)
well im a real nerd, and a fourm Roleplayer(you make stories, charecters, and stuff on roleplaying forums. It may sound dull but it beats ALL THE MMORPG IN THE WORLD PUT TOGATHER!) so i do the following
1. i use charecters in my roelplaying bio
2. use stuff that suite my personality
3. im big onto charecter customiaztion, but WoW isen't. I gusse i just let that slide for WoW.
Alright, I cannot tell you what class to play, and I'm even told people make decisions before they themselves know it, but hear me out:
I picked Rogue from the start because it suits me well. I hate fair fights because I may lose them otherwise, and I like the idea of being able to strike when least expected. (Yeah, I know. Bad person.)
But whether you protect your party with an invincible titan, or keep them alive with steady heals, be sure you're choosing what you want, not what others demand.
I used the Shaman. I went through every class/race combinations until i finally settled with the Shaman. In my opinion they can Tank/DPS/Heal all at once. Try shaman, im pretty sure you will love it.
SHAMAN FTW
LVL 11 AND LOVING IT!
