number of subscribers to various games (info needed)

Hi guys, I am attempting a little bit of research on the MMO market.  Thinking about doing my thesis in the area.  Does anyone know where it might be possible to find the number of subscribers each of the currently out games has?  If it is staring in the face, like one of the links on the side of the page, please dont be too harsh.image  Thank you

I have never seen a game put out the number of subs they have myself. Not even sure if they would give ya a number if ya contacted them directly, but never hurts to ask.

There is only one opinion that matters.

This hasn't been updated since last year, but it's the most comprehensive charting I have seen.  You may want to start here and contact the author.  Also, contacting the publishers directly would be a good place.

You guys are good.  Now if i can just find a guess as to the approxiamate percentage of turnover each month that is normal for an MMOG (on average that is).  I should know whether it might be worth pursuing some research in this area.  What do you guys think? Do you think a turnover rate of about 10% is about right? That would make the average subscription time about ten months.  Higher Lower what do you guys think?

Take any info that they give with "a pinch of salt" (is that the saying I'm looking for?) these companies are not known for being up-front with this kind of info (in fact it's been often said that they -gasp- fudge the numbers! Of dare I say out right LIE! I know its shocking but there it is....)
