Any WoW Players Over 30 Years Old?

There's 7 million WoW subscribers, and they can't all be gimme-gimme-gimme kids.

Any older players interested in friending other older players? I'm new to WoW.

    I'm 33... I think... memory not as good as it used to be image. My wife plays occasionally and she's 33 as well. We play on EU servers though. Try one of the RP servers if in doubt. They seem to be, if not older, then at least a bit more mature than the rest of the crowd. Again, that's EU servers. I have no clue if the same is true with US servers, but one can at least hope, eh?

    Just turned 30 last september.

    Couldn't touch another MMO for a year after the NGE. After one year of having a good time in BF2, I healed enough to give MMOs another try. I played Eve and liked it, I still have an account with them. Then I finally broke down and jumped into WoW about 2 months ago since I have a lot of friends who play. So far I have been having a great time. Level 46 Hunter on Dunemaul. Looking forward to TBC, i for one was glad they pushed it back a bit because I want to be level 60 when it comes out ::::18::

    33 here as well.  My wife is going to start playing soon as well and she is 34.  A lot of my guildmates are in their early 30s as well.  And from what I have seen over on WarcraftSocial.com a lot of people are in their 30s.

    I read something taken from a survey about a year ago saying that the average age for MMO gamers at the time was 28. That would mean a pretty good amount over 30. Dunno what truth there is to that or how many people were involved in the survey...just my 2 cents.

    I'm 29, just under the level, but my wife is 31... so our family average is 30 :D

    We play on Darkmoon fair, EU side.

    33 year's of age here and playing from time to time, actually loosing interest in every games and mmorpgs that comes out.

    Hoping for THAT mmorpg to be released that will get me hooked again, but thinking that wont happen again image

    I'm 41, and have played 2 years. I know three co-workers that play, all wellover 30.
    I've been in a few guilds with a minimum age of 18.

    I'm 14 years old, but I'm pretty mature. I have been playing WoW for about 2 weeks. I like it, and I have an ok guild.

    I'm way over 40 years old and have played WoW from beta.  There are many people over 30 playing WoW.

    I would have to say most of the player base is over 25 YO. Although they might act like kids.

    35 here, played since release. I'm also a highschool teacher...

    I shall be quitting soon due to the horrible PVP nerf my favourite class (mage) and main character has recieved in pvp (having your arse regularly handed to you in arenas is no fun, no chance unless you go full ice ;)

    Me and a few of my irl/online buddies are waiting for the next big thing to jump onto. Looking forward to fury tbh, as it will not be a demanding grindfest :)

    p.s. My wife hates me playing wow (and games in general) and thinks i'm insane... but hey, we all have a nerdy side =)

    43 here, though I was 42 when I played WoW for almost a year. I found quite a few good people in game who were mature. You'll do fine once you get out of the lower level areas and/or find a good guild. The Barrens is the absolute worst for dealing with immature players. (And to be clear, older players can be just as bad or worse than younger players, and vice versa). I've seen some adults in game who I've had to "ignore" and actually played with a few kids that were great. I did feel odd though when I was playing SWG that the guy I had been running around with for several weeks was 13 and I was 40 (41?) at the time. I had a moment of "omg-what have I said ingame that is completely inappropriate talk for a 13 year old..." lol

    Then I realized he'd been playing for a while and had more than likely heard a lot worse than anything I might have said.

    Aye it sometimes feels strange when you're playing with 12-14 year's old, but some are really mature and some are not.

    But still I don't want to know how old the are, how they look, etc, I'm playing a mmoRPG and I do NOT want to know what they are wearing in RL image it's just nice to "get away" for awhile with a mmorpg.

    36 here but alas I got bored of WoW after 2 years, should be back for the expansion.

    Now playing: VG (after a long break from MMORPGS)
    Played for more than a month: Darkfall online, Vanguard SOH, Everquest, Horizons, WoW, SWG, Everquest II, Eve
