Hiatus,Limbo...you name it im there

Hi first post i suppose so yeah...ill explain my situation. Experianced mmorpg player while this is a good thing its also a curse nearly every mainstream MMORPG ive played. Eve? 12 million skill points. Wow? Nax raiding guild. AO level 220 doctor. Im bored im so bloody bored of mmorpgs. I want to find one that will enthrall me like ultima online again, where from the moment i log in im like a fat kid locked in a sweet shop. I cant find a game like that. I cant find a game that truley excites me and keeps me entertained. Im bored at how the companies release mmorpgs claiming to have new systems when all that is new is the label that used to say "grind" now says "quest grind" its a joke.

Basically this is a "Help me thread" im looking for a MMorpg it needs to be unique in a sense that it has something no other rpg does it needs to be fun and not 13 hours a day of grinding. Im looking to you the mmorpg community to give me ideas , help a hardcore gamer out of this stage of limbo.

Guess you'll have to wait a while for the next batch of MMO's to be released like everyone else. Vangard, Age of Conan and Warhammer Online seem to be most people favourites. I'm waiting for LOTRO myself and WAR for a pvp fix.

Darkfall is meant to be the 'next UO' although whether it is the worlds longest running april fools joke and it doesn't actually seem to exsist, or they are just taking forever to make it I don't know, but it seems promising if it doesn't get left behind in graphics etc due to the apparent length of time in development. We'll have to wait and see :P

its kind of sad really i can go down the list on the released games to your left and say ive tried 90 percent of them and the only one that kept me truley interested was world of warcraft untill ofcourse it became a 5 day commitment, sigh i want to go back to the Uo days :(, seems developers lately are focusing too much on getting the product out fast rather than working on a system that would make it truley unique,

Note to developers: Stop flooding an already over populated market with shit, ty.

They are revamping UO's graphic, hopefully it'll begin to attract new players and be worth it :) I'll certainly give it another shot.
