MMORPG.com is pleased to announce that at 9:05pm (EST) our community reached the 1,000,000 post mark on our forums. The post was made by Methane47 in the General Discussion: Off Topic Discussion portion of our message boards. Methane47 will be receiving an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor in honor of the occasion.

    I read this site every day and I did not see anything about the million post competition!! Way to go to give your mate a free processor, and mark it off as a tax write off.

    You don't announce a millionth post competition or you get people spamming the letter A for 45 minutes as the hit counter goes higher. We simply checked the logs when it hit 1,000,000 and handed out an award to the lucky poster. Trust me, we couldn't have rigged this if we tried. You guys post too fast.

    Next time I am trying to think of a lucky word I will have to try "methane," seems to work well.
