Although all the news about Revelations I is interesting, it was the White Wolf blurb that really caught my eye.
I am pleased to see that White Wolf looks to finally be caving and allowing a MMORPG based on the World of Darkness; it's been a long time coming.
Unfortunately, I just spent the last six months of my life writing a game design document for a Vampire: The Masquerade MMO and now it looks like a lot of wasted time.

Just going off of this quote from the article;
For White Wolf, they gain the expertise of a top notch video game developer who will eventually help them develop their flagship intellectual property - World of Darkness - into an MMOG.
That seems pretty straightforward.
On the upside, the design document has a place in my resume; on the downside, I saw something like this coming (though I didn't envision CCP as the development company) and I was hoping to grab the bull by the horns and get in on the bottom floor.

Eve plays more like a "ship sim" than an RPG (IMO). Your avatar is basically your ship although you do have a static portrait in the chat window. Combat is simplistic and mining gets boring but players are generally more helpful than in EQ, WoW, etc. Although mining in a 'hot zone' (Sec 4 and below) can be quite exciting. The artwork and ships are beautiful. So if you like open ended sci-fi, Eve is a teriffic change of pace from the usual online fare.

You are NOT your ship, your ship is like armor you put on and can change depending on what 'class' you want to be but it is not your avatar. it's like a mount in other MMO's, but you're always on it.
Newbie missions combat is simplistic, but PVP and higher level missions it is anything but and yes mining is boring, but it's also optional.
To be able to zoom out from ship to system is much needed. I'm so psyched about the visual upgrade as well. I just got a killer system and will be reaping the rewards as they come! I can't wait to check it out tomorrow!

It is nice to see a game expansion for only the normal monthly fee, more companies should do this.
Not that I will be trying this expansion, I did try EVE because of all the good reviews, but I found it such a boring pointless game.
