Well I finally got a group for stockades via the meeting stone, when i join the group I see that we only have 3 people, a druid, a warlock, and a priest (myself). So I figure the druid can tank in bear form and the warlock can nuke while i heal, not the best group, but doable. We start out alright...but then the druid got the idea to tank in cat form and pull entire rooms at a time. Needless to say she failed...we wiped 3 times before I called it quits.... this is what I am talking about when I say a community makes a game, not the other way around. A horrible game can be really fun if you have the right people to play with, a great example of this is RYL. A very low budget game, a very basic game, but in my opinion, one of the most fun games I have ever played, 2nd only to Pre-CU SWG. Anyway, here is a link to my encounter with a member from wow's community today.

Exactly. I've had a bad group here and there but I know that doesnt go for every group. I've had good groups, alot more great groups than bad.
It's random stuff sometimes, thats why I didn't do instances with anyone but my guild mates. Much more secure then...and thats when i started to have the most fun.
Whee double post!
Yeah, but they dont poll 9-10 yr olds. If you are so bothered by it, leave. If this is your way of judging a game, more power to you, but honestly good luck finding something to play if one bad group experience ruins it. Ive had bad groups with people in their 30s and 40s, and Ive had great groups with an 8 yr old. So nothing is set in stone. Nothing is certain. You get a random group, you have no idea what you are going to get. if it bothers you, join a guild or something. at any rate, good luck with whatever you decide.

Nor do they poll 2 people, in most cases it is a minimum of 1000 to have any shred of reliability. Then you have to decide if your group was truly random. I have not done the stockades, nor even heard of them, but how hard are they? What type of people does it attract? maybe 10 year olds like hanging out there hehe.

Stockade is a 20-25 level mini-instance inside Stormwind. As such many people at that level are still learning and have no idea what they are doing.
To the OP: yes, you found a 9 and 10 year old guy in wow (that are not even supposed to be playing it) and i am sure you can find same people in like EQ2, EQ, DAoC and so on. The average age for wow players is somewhere in the 20ish. So you got unlucky once, that is what guilds and friend lists are for, find somebody good and stick with them.
Beside, low level instances are always like that. people have no idea what they are doing for the most part and are just learning what the whole "tanks, healing, DPS, aggro" mean. by the time you get to Scarlet monastery, most people will have learned.

So WoW sucks because it's the only MMORPG with idiots?
EDIT: I looked at the screenshot... WoW sucks because people like -you- play it. It's "You're retarded", by the way. "Your retarded" means "the retarded that belongs to you".
Most WoW instances, including the stockades, are designed for five players. Of course, fewer people can complete the instance if all concerned are good and experienced players, but to expect this from a low level pickup group is overly optimistic.
I'd suggest if you repeated the experience 20 times with 3 man pick up groups, 19 times something would go wrong. If I were you, and could only attract 3 people for the run, then I'd have either
a) Started whispering people of suitable classes in the level range, starting with anyone I'd already adventured with.
or
b) Wait until a busier time (the weekend?) and then try to put together a group for the instance run
When putting together a group, your first priority should be to get a solid tank. As a priest, you should try to put together a list of half a dozen decent tanks (not necessarily warriors, druids and paladins can work here too). Whenever you go on an instance run, check your tank list to see who is available. If you can't get a known tank and have to ask someone new, then it's worth trying a few questions. "Do you use a shield when you tank". "Do you use defensive stance (= bear form for druids). How do you hold aggro? Finding a good tank is by far the most important aspect of success for any WoW instance run.

I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.
You are right about one thing though - you are the poster child for the kind of person I dont want to play WoW with.
I can see that the WoW fanboys are out in force today. How can anyone say with a straight face that WoW is a GREAT game? Oh well I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion.
As far as the OP goes. You have a point in that ..yes their are little annoying boys all over the world playing this game. Even though I dont like WoW I definitely would not judge the whole game on one group experience. If you judged every game that way .. sooner or later you would stop playing every game you tried.
To all the people saying that you are the immature one: Your telling me you have NEVER been frustrated in a game like WoW and told somebody off? Come on .. get real. Doing an instance is not the time to stop and teach ten year olds every move to make. Noone has time for that... unless of course you like dieing.
There's idiots in everygame dude. Anyways, I don't know if its just me but after a week of playing WoW I have only noticed one (yes one) idiot making himself heard.
"Lick My Weapons"
Eh ... that's exactly what people do in endgame instances. The leader(s) advise people exactly where to do and what to do there. It's called "raid leadership". I agree that not everyone has the patience for it (and I don't like raiding at all really), but it's a core playstyle. If you take the time to explain to the group in a 5-man instance what is coming next and how to approach it, you actually *don't* die, and the group succeeds. And as for telling people off, no, I've never done that in the games that I've played. It's counterproductive and disrespectful and I also agree with others that it reflects an immature attitude. A mature player will take the opportunity to demionstrate some leadership and explain how to do the instance so that everyone succeeds.
You are worse community than the 10 year old.
At least they dealt with the situation with humor and good cheer.
You dealt with it as if WoW is the most important thing in your whole life, and started your temper tantrum.
I wouild not be surprised if this person told you they were 10 just to pull your chain and have some fun at your expense.
If you can't take a few deaths without blowing your top, I suggest you give up gaming and take up Yoga.
LEEEEEROOOOOOOOOOOY JEEEEEENKIIIIINS
I guess if you actually took the time to read post instead of posting 2 million times a day you would see that your not.
