I remember buying this game when it came out.  The annoying introduction tutorial, "Hey, Tupo," if you want to develop skills "Tupo", then you'll have to do this "Tupo".  

So condescending.  The whole thing felt like some Communist brain-washing indoctrination camp.  Heck, you couldn't even choose your server.  Maybe "Tupo" translates to "Marxist gaming recruit" or something.

Perhaps that's the way some eastern games are; they feel they need to structure the player base more.

    Umm... I think you ment Kupo and that would have been your Moogle, Kupo, Is just somthing they say. Its more of a noise they make. In between talking.

    Wow man I have one question for you. Have you played any other final fantasy games besides ffxi? All moogles say that in every sentence its just another way ffxi keeps that final fantasy feel that 99% of the players love. Check some of them they are hands down some of the best single player rpgs every made i wouldnt say they best but all have that great ff feel and are enjoying to play.
