Blizzards comment on the trade, "We feel that we've conquered the Fantasy MMO market and were looking for a challenge and that the half @ssed SWG will be the ultimate test of our skills."
I read a crazy rumour on the current forum,apparently a rabid fanbois was claiming that all copies of SWG:Complete had sold out in the stores he had been to.
The truth however is that those stores never actually stocked that game or canceled any orders of it, I guess he was disappointed when he couldn't get a copy of it to go with the PS3 they weren't selling either!

I read that same post, and came up with exactly the same conclusion as you did.
Sometimes I wish they'd share a bit of that fanboi-koolaid they're drinking with the rest of us, then I might actually be able to enjoy playing SWG again, seems to work for them anyhow...

I stil haven't seen one SWG Complete box in a store yet, if I had I would've hidden them to keep some poor sap from wasting his money on it.
I guess if the stores are selling out of them in New Zealand, either they are only getting a couple copies at each store, you are making it up or all people from New Zealand like to play sucky games. I think most of the copies have been sold to fanbois who already play the game and have just forked over $30 so they can get the robotic riding chicken mount.

I have noticed and increase in amount of copies of the game going out the door, in some stores there is a significant dent in the shelves were it is stocked. I am sure that its sales are increasing, but I doubt they are a huge number of increases in sales. Although if it is being release in another country were it is new then yes I can see it being sold out, but not here were I am, the game has been out for over 3 years, it is closing in on 4 years old, I can not see too many people buying this game simple because it is so old, there is newer games out there to buy now. Ever MMO well any game in fact that is almost 4 years old is not going to be a big seller. Bring it on down now.

To be honest all the rumors are getting old, how many have been true? I can't think of one right now. There sure is LOT of people who claim to have inside info, funny how none of it ever comes true.

What are you tring to prove exactly? Even if the game was engaging why side with the jackels, do you crave abuse is that it? Im not a sensitive type thatll attack someone who is clearly in need of help. Its cool you like the NGE but please show some self respect.
SOE cohorts dont care what our opinion is good or bad as they have stated ......OK true they did say on 2 occassions they did care and were going to show it by communicating, Just be careful man that crusader armor has a removable back panel. and helious is the key master

Ingame gender swap for vets? Guess the new generation of MMORPGers will cry because it isn't fair they have to spend one week grinding up a new char to max level with crusader armour if they want a gender swap?
I asked at my local stores and according to all the staff in those stores SWG:Complete has sold out on the first day! Apparently a man with sunglasses entered the store, he was tall tannes spoke with a southern USA accent and was dressed in a white rhinestone jump suit. He purchased every copy of SWG:Complete, whilst waiting he began to sing what he claims will be the new SWG theme tune next year. After he'd sang "suspicous minds" a few times he took the games and left, before walking out he shouted "SWG:Complete has left the game store, uh huh huh!". True story that, and all the staff told me the same thing but I live in the Falkland Islands so it's a new and shiny turd here so everyone wants it (despite the fact we have internet access we've never heard of SWG or SOE and it's our first time MMO).

True, but its still fun. My official policy is and always has been to believe any and all rumors simply on the basis that they are fun and preferable to believing the opposite. Besides, the law averages says that one day one of them will eventually be true. And whoaahhh.....look out for that day.
