Would anyone who gets their beta invitation give us a heads-up so we can all sit on pins and needles image I will certainly pass the word on this thread when I have gotten my beta info.  Hopefully soon all! image

    Heh! I was looking at the forums checking for that exact same thing.  Nothing on my end either, but I'll give a shout when it happens.

    I got a notice that it would be 48-72 hours for me to get a mail which I did and then I signed up on their page and got yet another mail that said I would get the rest of the info soon..I believe that mail came Friday 3/19.

    Yeah the 72 hours is up today but it does not look promising at the moment.  I think it is the middle of the night in France??  If so I would not worry about getting any info until tomorrow.  I also have preordered City of Heroes and they are starting their preorder beta invitations today.  I have only checked my email about 8 quadrillion  times today...LOL! image

    Wow I didn't realize CoH beta invites for pre-orders started tomorrow :)  Maybe I should pre-order today as I think I know about half a dozen RL friends that will be playing that hehe

    Some people don't take it in that the fact is it was the WEEKEND most places arn't open on the Weekend thus meaning why u prolly havn't heard back from them :)

    And don't worry everyone...they just bumped the release date to 6/15/2004 so you get an extra 2 months to beta test once we get the download link or cd.

    yeah really...great that we can DL the client :)  I need a beta soon :)  I am not active in any right now...got burned out on EQ after 4 years and none of my RL friends are playing anything else hehe

    Zef I was actually just looking at that today. Think I may have to download it and give it a go.  Have you tried it out?

    Ack, I couldn't stand KO. Arcade-style graphics and absolutley nothing new to add. I stuck it out thru closed beta cuz I like bug-hunting and the support team seemed like nice guys, but the game blows.

    yeah its just a game to pass the time ok graphics but then graphics isn't what makes a game good but the lag is horible and only few chars and classes to select from as well as u can't customize ur armor like in other games

    My thoughts exactly.  It was a nice change from the usual slower fighting, but overall it really doesn't have anything special to offer.
