Tried WoW a couple times, could never stick with it really but i love the use of mythology n the pvp ive seen from DAOC. Who are the best guilds on the classic servers(or well known?) its easier to get into a game when you've got a guild to guide you ^_^

So many good guilds in DAOC its hard to pin one down.... If you roll on the Hibernia side you might look into the F.U.N guild, they seem to be pretty friendly and willing to take on new members. But there are dozens of others, and its really more important to get in one thats part of a good alliance. My own guild is small but its part of the Fungus Flinger Alliance which has about 80-100 ppl online at any one time to group up with for pve and pvp.
But most guilds seem to want you to prove your commitment to the game by getting to level 20 on your own, so you could do what I did, and join a newly forming guild just to have some folks to hang with until you find the right end game guild to hang with. Heck, my guild gave me 50 gold just for helping them get started....
You actually begin the game in a starter guild for new players, and some folks stay in that for quite awhile..at least until they figure out who they'd like to join up with.
