The "owner" of the new company has a myspace full of profanity, and pictures of him changing signs of businesses to say lewd things. The "CEO" was also working on mourning before the new owners took over. The only game Loud Ant has made is a crappy flash game for some website. Their headquarters is in a residential apartment building.
It all adds up to bad news for their future customers.
Ehh...I like the idea of game focused on hardcore PvP and some of the other ideas for this game sound pretty cool, but it seems like every screen shot I see of this game there's some freakishly high zone wall in the background. It looks almost as bad and sometimes worse then the zone walls in WoW or Dark Age of Camelot. Is it really that hard to make land barriers and give them a "natural" appearance. Plus that whole entrance way with the horns and chains looks pretty silly and overdone (are the orcs over compensating for something?).
I live in the same city as Loud Ant. I should head over there and teach these guys how to make MMOs.
