Angel/Demon Interaction

How do you guys think NCSoft will handle the differing factions? I pray that this will not end up like WoW where there is no interaction at all between the two factions, other than emotes.

WoW makes up about half of my time spent playing MMO's, and I do not
like the feel of the way it is handled there. It makes it so that 2
players on the same server but opposing factions could be in totally different worlds.

Do you guys think Angels and Demons should be able to talk? Or at least send tells/whispers? Maybe even cross-faction trading or an all-encompassing market, like an auction house?

    IMO there should even be at least 1 place where they would be required to group together.  Even if such place is only available once per week or whatever, but it should be there...so even if this is the enemy, you might have minimal interactions.

    Could be something like the deal in Constantine a place where you could meet that isn't contested but I doubt they will do such.

    I dont quite think that they should let the 2 factions  party or interact in a way that u wud if u were from the same faction....i mean think about it, ur supposed to hate the opposing faction so y wud u beable to make friends wih them ? which most likely will happen if ur allowed to group up......but to talk with them yes that will b nice

    though i like the idea of somethng like a cross world auction house or something like that so u can buy items from them

    Ok Aion will not be like WoW with the talking for sure you should be able to talk to them as far as the grouping with them I seriously doubt it they are your enemies depending on which side you pick thats common sence in that info. Add the NPC run dragons of course are the balanceing characters between the 2 factions. like it said in 1 faction is getting too strong the dragons will fight to help the loseing faction to balance the 2 out again. Love the concept.. Ohhh another thing you cant hunt an area for tooooo long because if you do the mobs will start to get harder and eventually they will be too tough to take on so you have to move to another area to fight then come back to the area again. This Idea will help from having BOTS.. I despise BOTS ><.. I killl ALL BOTS they are not welcome in any game I play lol image. Thats one part of the game I like the most.

    Well, those of you who've played CoX know that the devs implemented some quests at Pocket D where both a hero and a villain were required to complete the task. I wouldn't be surprised if they put in a quest here and there where angels and demons had to temporarily work together to accomplish something (killing a dragon, etc).

    If that is true then that has to be the greatest idea to minimize farm bots that i have seen in an MMO, I pray to god that this is what they end up doing, but how will they decide how large an area is without zones?  hmmm

    I hope they will make it kind of like in SoR, there we can team up opposite faction peeps (even when flagged) and do things together. Being in opposite factions doesn't necessarly mean being ennemies, I do have friends in opposite faction in Ryzom and I would be bummed not being able to trade/chat/play with them...
    In SoR some people even defend OPs against attack from their own faction, I think this makes the RP better...

    God I Can't wait for this game. It's going to be a goody ^_^. But this is one area of the game that I'm worried about since most my friends play the same mmo's. Currently it all depends on the skills for which way I'm going to go....But unfortunately it's the same for my friends...so we might be on different factions. Of course you'll be able to talk to anyone since afterall in lineage 2 you could pm others from different clans and whatnot. This game was originally entitled "Lineage Forever" (if memory serves me correct)...But there was no following towards the game and it died out....and it slowly transformers it's ideas and concepts into Aion...a game completely different from Lineage yes...But it will have some memorable traits which were successful in Lineage 2 imo.

    But personally I think there won't be any cooperation between the two different factions....but hopefully they'll have a few neutral towns where people can gather and trade...If each faction class has different weapons with different benefits it'd be great to see them on the opposing factions side via trade...That would give the game a extra umpf that would be fantastic.

    Bah...I want to play...lol..I just hope the 2006 Q4 beta will indeed happen.

    no ncsoft game that i know of hasnt got interaction... but u never know :S
