I can't think of many. I can't see how an RCE game can be attractive. You essentially eliminate a level playing field and make it dependent on the type of income a person has. If you've googled for hours and have only come up with four, i'd think that there aren't anymore than that.

Real Cash economy games are a new "experiemental" venture. There aren't too many of them out there yet (thank god). Most people play games to relax not to try to earn or lose real life money so this thing might or might not kick off.

If, in withdrawing your money, you are talking about converting game currency to say, US currency, don't be surprised wen the IRS comes calling. Basically, the farmers are making boatloads of money. And when you think of them as being Asian farmers only, you miss the point that the ownership is generally American.

There was an article in a computer magazine about how one of these owners, who wished to remain nameless, had bought himself a mansion in either Wisconsin or Minnesota, and had made around $10 mill from his farmer operations in China.

This is the reason the government is looking at taxing these virtual economis. This summer there will be discussions in Congress about requiring the developers to issue 1099s for the player's that are enriched through both the virtual economy and through phat loot drops, as both of these aspects can be converted into US dollars. You no longer have a virtual economy when you can make it realistic enough that it can be measured in US dollars.

It will be an interesting summer for the devlopers, and gamers, alike.
