pretty obvious, shadowbane blows, horizons i havent tried but after reading 95% negative comments it cant be good, wow has huge hype but forsure will be better then both these games.

shadowbane has free trial

horizons will have free trial near end of febuary

wow wont be released till.... forever

might as well try those free trials till then

Well I've heard so much bad stuff about Horizons I decided not to buy it like I was going to in the first place, but I will probably try the free trial when that comes out and see what the games like.

if you call 50$ for a game with no guide that comes with it. I would say the "free mounth" price is included. I bought the game and tried it for 3 mounths i wish i would have waited for WOW or something else im shure on wow's realease or even beta running around without fighting will be funner than horizons is. Buy ac1 or daoc for a free trial for somethig to tide you over or play call of duty or halo is my advise.

Well there are a lot of Warcraft fans here so that is why they vote for it.

But those guys have no idea of how WoW is. How can ye vote for a game you never played?

Just by watching screenshots, trailors or dev chats? - really stupid fans!

I am Blizzard fan too but I didnt vote for it because we cant play it yet!

WoW is not out yet. How can you vote on a game that no one has played? And how can you guys sit there and recommend to wait on WoW? You have no idea if its going to be great or a flaming pile of feces. I love it when people compare games that are not comparable.

Between Shadowbane and Horizons, I would say Horizons. HZ has a seven-day free trial. If I were you, I would try HZ first before buying it. Shadowbane is much worse than HZ in my opinion.

well im one of the unlucky one i bought it and let me tell u it get old fast

im a lvl 88 ranger only becouse my real life friend played it and got power lvl ed all the way up after that u see the same monsters over and over again only difference is they put different name on them. The lagg is still their and all their promise they said well they never did it. im on a 6 months subscription what a waist of my money

No, I'm not saying buy HZ because of the trial. I'm saying that people can try it before they buy it, to see if they like it. I know everyone's not going to like Horizons, it's a matter of opinion.

I would go for Horizons personally. Yes, it is buggy and has a few problems that I don't like, but it is still a pretty fun game. WoW isn't even out yet and might not be for a long time yet. Shadowbane has never been worth it in my opinion, so that leaves Horizons. It was nice to be able to play a dragon....

This is kind of weird how WOW got more votes even though this a horizons post. Shadowbane doesn't suprise me because tons of people hate it. Me I haven't even played it.

I can say WOW is worth the wait. Im a Blizzard fan but I hated Diablo. Not my kink or game. But I live about a 20-30 min drive with no trific, with trific its about 1-2 hours. But I see Blizzard HQ almost every day on my way to my friends house. And you know what my friend's older brother workings for Blizzard on WOW. I have heard stories of it. Ive seen screenshots that most havn't seen. WOW is going to be a great game. I have waited for it for a long time. I read and heard stories about Shadowbane and Horizons. Don't pay for eather of them. Try them out first. I would play FFxi, iRO,EQ, or AC2.

Out of those 3 games I'd say WoW. SB and HZ suck. Although WoW could be a huge let down also, just like Lineage2 (which blows)

Don't waste money on Horizons. I was in the beta just long enough to get interested enough to buy it. After about 2 months playing it I regretted it severely. Played for 3 months after release and am VERY sorry I payed for 3 months in advance.

Horizons is one of those games that you're going to want to "Give it a year, then come back to it" because right now it's lots of great ideas with poor implementation.

Biggest problem is a severe lack of any real incentive to go adventure. There's no loot whatsoever so no point in hunting for most 'adventure' types. And you can only craft for so long before you turn blue in the face.

Yo i thought Horizons was a tight game yo. At first I heard that the game was nothing but crafting and it sucked but i got the 7 day trial. I tell ya , I got a total different reation when I played. Especially my older brother who's a fan of console and never played online games. He tried Horizons and loved it cuz of the option to play a Dragon. The crafting is nice and fun (for me of course) fighting wasnt so bad. I didnt die like 100 times. The spells were nice my favorites was the ressurection and the summons. And they're still doing updates. Like dragons flying and other nice stuff with crafting and dye.

Some people are too picky or are expecting way too much from a game. Just have fun with what the gaming industry has to offer right now. Anyways I'm willing to bet a few people dat are critizing how Horizons, AO, EQ, Shadowbane and etc... aren't good enough or they just suck compared to WOW and EQ2 will go and play WOW and EQ2 and other games that are in developement and after beta say the same thing. And half of them will probably go out and go by a new vido card to play what they thought was gonna be a good game. Trust me i've been there....

You could think im wrong or you might think I'm a idiot but emerse yourselves in the game become, your character or vice versa whatever... I know a few people that still enjoy playin Legends of Zelda; A Link to the past on SNES or PacMan or even text based games .

But I believe WOW will prevail on release because I want to ride a Gripphon .

Normally I would agree with you but Horizons has severe problems. You haven't been playing all that long yet, once you have you'll figure out what the rest of us have. It's boring, especially once you level up a bit.

The game looks GREAT at first, even some of us from beta bought it at first. But they aren't doing much of anything to tuely improve the game. I figure I'll give it till Dec/Jan of next year before I try it out again.

Yes, it's got great graphics... but that's about it.

Dude, if you honestly believe that then I have a car to sell you. You honestly mean to tell me that you are ok with a game being released with less than HALF of the things it's advertised as having implemented? You feel that it's fair that people were tricked into paying full price for a game that doesn't even give them what is promised on the cover of the Box?

Half of the things the DOCUMENTATION says you can do aren't even working right.

The game has nearly unplayable lag if you try to play with a system at the minimum hardware requirements. Minimum should mean it's playable but not very good. It shouldn't mean that it crashes every 10 or 20 minutes and won't even launch if you're in a crowded area. Minimum means it's playable but not good. At the "Recommended" requirements the game should be awesome. But even at "recommended" most people have to turn everything off graphics wise and even most of the sound for the game to be playable.

My system EXCEEDS the "Recommended" configuration by almost 2x and I STILL have to turn lots of features off just to be able to play the game.

I HAVE played it and it DOES suck. Horizons is colossally boring. The ideas they came up with are fantastic.... the implementation sucks.

Just because it SOUNDS great doesn't mean it IS great.

2 things are still being added and don't tell me its not cause i reaearch games day in and day out.....

3 prob unplayabke for you but not for others...some of the 'Unplayableity may be form some of those bugs.......

or maybe you just don't like the game again like i said just because you do not like it does not make it a bad game.....so just move on and I could care less for everyones complaining on this game
