Well i used to play FFXI but then had to quit, and couple months later started up WoW eventually quit that cuz it was boring and repetitive and then i played EQ2 and just recently quit that because it was boring and repetitive i was just wondering if i should get this game or if there is any other games out there i should take a look at.

Most games will get Boring and/or repetitive after playing them for awhile. You just need to step out of the routine, Go play a FPS and Pwn some N00bs
But seriouslly, If you're bored. Then step out of your routine. Like in FFXI most people:
Level > Level > Level > Make money/Buy new equipment > Level > Level > Level > Make Money > Level > Level > Level > Quit the Game from Bordom
And then those people Complain about FFXI being a Grind Fest. Like "Duh! Thats all you Did!"
Has anyone reading this every done Garrison? Ever Heard of it? Prolly not because NOONE ever does it anymore.
Now, The point that I'm trying to make is. Too much of one thing becomes bad, And then you find yourself doing it out of habbit. And it becomes boring.
A good analogy is Sex. With your Wife/GF/BF Who ever. You have to mix it up a bit, Spice things up. Otherwise You're doomed boring uneventfull relationship.
Telaki is right, there are so many things you can do in FFXI it's hard to list them all. Leveling in FFXI gets really boring post level 50ish and is, like with all MMORPGs, basically a grind.
If you are not just after rewards but want to have fun with a group of people FFXI offers the most features of all MMORPGs.
