I've been downloading the patch forever!

Anyone know if they did a wipe?

    I would like it if they did do a wipe. But seeing as how most of the contect they added is for higher levels I'm betting they haven't done the wipe yet.

    Could be wrong though.

    Holy crikey. The file size went from under a gig to nearly 3gig. Yeah that was a big d/led.

    And now that it's all done I'm sitting here at the log in screen hitting "log in" and nothing is happening, not even an error message or anything

    Course they probably havn't gotten the servers up and running yet. I'll wait another day before I start thinking my client is bugged.

    BTW, as for the server wipe, I also doubt it. I read *and the link is posted on these forums* that there will be no server wipe, it has been delayed. Which means there no point to really playing if you havn't started already. Spend a week get lvl 20ish maybe then BOOM it's all gone, time to start over. What time I am on, I spend looking for glitches or gameplay flaws more than I do trying to level, since it'd be a wasted effort.

    yea i downloaded the update over the course of the night and its big, still cant play though... Did the open beta start cuz a couple of my friends got in last night...::::28::

    heh.. it took me 5 hours to complete patch... only to realize that the servers were not going to be up till 8pm pst.  I'm on comcast cable too....  I feel sorry for all the 56k users.

    I believe it was just another addition to the Closed Beta. Thats what my email said.

    If the game is launching in late april, where does that put the open beta? :-p

    Anyboddy know how big is this patch realy ?? I have 64k :( and my transfer is 7-8k/s. Damn im in closed beta nad i can't play :(. Any boddky know why i can't Log In ??

    Does anybody know if the "enhanced keyboard movement" and the "first person viewpoint" has been implemented yet? I know the Prelude patch went online the other day, but I still miss theese features. Will they be implemented on thursday (there is downtime aasociated with the Prelude then)?

    it went from 1.2 gb to 2.56 gb. Just statistics to let ya know.

    Yes, the W A S D movement controls and first person view features are part of the prelude patch and are up and working.

    The page up and page down keys let you switch between 1st person, close 3rd, and far 3rd.  You still have the ability to hold the right mouse button to pan the camera and use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out of course (except in 1st person).

    I hate how if you hold right click but if you don't move at all that it switches camera... >.< but that's just me...

    My friend downloaded it in like 2 minutes some how.. and he has the same internet as I do sence were neighbors..
