Good Starting Class?

Anyone know whats the easiest class to roll ive never played SB and since its free and no other games are worth trying im gonna give it a go

    Since I'm a SB newb myself, one answer that I'd got from asking that same question from a SB vet in my local online gaming forum was to roll a farming druid. According to him, it was to accompany any other main options that we might have and farm druids gets the needed gold and runes to tackle that area. Unfortunately, since I'm not so adept at farming, I had done away but did gave druid a shot and it wasn't half bad at all.

    Barbs and wars are good options too, particularly if you're more on the 'hit 'em hard 1st, worry about any other BS later' type of player.

    The Test Server is a good place to start if you plan for multiple rerolls and testing out templates. Deets are here.

    Really there isnt a best class to start with, unless we know your playstyle. I would sugest Looking over the class choices and checking out some player guides/templates on the SB forums, believe me ive met people who joined and played a warrior and quit because it wasnt their thing. So again, the best way is to choose from the classes and look for help here.

    -I would probably suggest a Minotaur Barbarian for the following reasons:

    1. You don't need to take any in-game runes, which are expensive to new players.

    2. They are easy to play in PvP and are meat toons, which are welcome a lot of the time.

    3. They can get okay money and level while doing so.

    -Just take Warlord's Page and Healthy as an ox in the beginning, get your int to about 60, then fill con and str. Train your weapon (recommend 2-h axe) and gl with the game. When you get into a guild that can help you get runes, money, and gear, you get to do one of the most fun things in SB: Make a new character.

    One thing to add on to Vesilis's post,

    On a Mino Barb you shouldnt need to get 60int, its actually sugested that you go 43int

    its A vet thing really, but once you get all your gear and levels 43 int proves to be the overall better choice.

    Yeah, on a mino, the highest I would go would be like 55. Mine has 46, which I think is a very good amount for my template. But if you are on a fighter base, such as a warrior, 60 int is generally considered safe.
