Hallo. I am a EnB player...... yes I know. it is shuting down now :S And I am really **** (fill in the moust ugly words you can imagen)*** pis... angry on AE for doing so :S Well Well. There is noting I can do about it now, is it.... So I have to walk on with my life and try out the mmorpg called Real Life....

I think RL sucks. Really. Bad hunting grounds with no or litle loot. Little experiance to find around and noting to explore. It is bugged and it crashs and lag from time to time.

So I need your help now. Where sould I go from now? I like flying in space and I like fantasy. I have played EQ for some time before I started EnB. Any ideas and recomandateins?

If you haven't already, I would suggest you check out Eve Online. Majority of E&B have migrated there. Your friends might have aswell.

I have some bad feelings about EvE. It is a really time consuming game and you play it besat AFK. Learning best AFK etc etc. It is hard to play it if you are not AFK.... etc etc.....

And 70% of the game is prospecting, prospecting and more prospecting. Really hard to evolve without prospecing.

And if one person wanna be a really asshole, he can kill you, just becouse he can, and then shot your pod, and suddenly you have to start all over. That thing really maks me not want to try it. I dont want to waist 100s of hour and then lose everything. It just arnt fun. Sure I agree that you should be punished for dieng, but loosing everything is way to much. I am not interested in that.

Both EVE and Jumpgate are offering promotions for E&B refugees. I haven't played E&B or JG and only played EVE in beta, but I would think one of these two would be your best bet if you want to stay in the space travel idiom.

You can insure your ship in eve so getting shot is no biggie!
If they kill your pod you loose your clone but as long your are cloned you wont loose anything but the (cheap) clone.

If you don't like prospecting then make your money with hunting. It's more fun.

The majority of Eve Online's Gaming World is Federation Space, meaning there are penalities if you engage in PvP within these territories if not at War with the other person. Your ship is "frozen" and your shot at by "guards" we'll call em, till your ship is blown up. Other than 0.0 Security Level Space your pretty much safe from random PKing.

Hey I'll try and help you the best I can, but before I will I do need to know what features you're looking for in a mmorpg. Because quite honestly I was going to say EVE online myself, but if it isn't your cup of tea I'll what other directions I can point ya. I just need a little more information.

Hmm.. maybe I will try out DarkSpace And EvE just to have done it It is free to try <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

What I mostly are looking for is a game with good game play and a variety of things to do so if I dont like to, say prospect, then I can turn around and do something completely ells. Sense I get easy bored if I have to do one thing all the time, I need to find a game that have different tings to do in the game and not only one thing.

I wish for a game that could be something like Wingcommander Privateer II The darkening. But it is not the only gametype I can go for. I am a fantasy fan I still think EQ is grate, just got bored of it :S The skill system is a wonder in the game and I wish that other games would use the same system. The more you use the skill, the better you will be in it

EDIT:

What I really liked with EnB was that every class and race had an advantage and disadvantage. An advantage that the other races would not have. I really would like a game that had it in it. I have heard that in EvE there is non advantage that will give any race any thing that other would not get. So in practise it doesnt matter what you make in the beginning. You can do everything as good as any other race.

actually as far as training "afk"? it's not just afk. I am on the free trial now and have many of my skills to almost level 5 and I have actually nly played (logged on) about 3 hours total. You can select a skill to train (level 5 takes 4 real days) logg off and your skill will still train when not logged on. Now I am not staying with EVE because it is not my type of game, but I am also not giving it a bad review. From what I have played so far it seems like a great game, but as I said, it's not for me.

That's in seconds. Divide any player's time played by 3600 to get it in hours
