Dark and Light team do the decent thing...

Looks like if you make a post on the forums about not wanting a subscription then they'll cancel it for you...

 

 

 

You've just received an email informing you that you will be refunded the subscription fee collected for the month of November and that your account will be changed into a Freedom account, without any subscription.

Even thought your account status has changed, if you had leadership positions, your avatars' titles of Guild, Fortress and Holdings Leader are saved.
Regarding those same avatars, equipment of companion level and above which are not flagged as useable by a Freedom access player (without subscription) will be unequipped and stored within backpacks. The player will then have to use game credits to be able to equip their avatars with these objects again.
Note: if the player's backpack is full, the items fall onto the ground. The player will then have to choose the items he wishes to store

If you wish to remain a Master player, we recommend you to change your account status by logging into your Dark and Light self service: http://www.darkandlight.net/selfservice.php3
Choose "Game Access" and change your "Game Access Preferences". Your account will be updated automatically.

    Ummm...The decent thing for the devs to do would be to turn off the servers and admit their scam has come to an end.

    Along with a written promise that not one of the dev team, their friends, family, pets or former aquaintanances will ever step within 100 miles of any developing MMO, or game of any description for the rest of their lives.

    Then the developers (a term I use in its loosest sense), would hold hands and slowly walk into the ocean, never to be heard from again. Their building would be burned to ash, the island sunk, and volumes written on how badly they have treated gamers, and their human dignity, to scare unruly children for all ages.

    "Do your homework Billy, or Vuaar will come get you!"

    "If you say Farlan three times while looking into a mirror, the devs will appear and erase your hardrive!"

    These represent the absolute worst devs of any game ever made. They are the epitomy of deceit, lies, fingerpointing and corruption. Not to mention they couldn't program a game to save their lives.

    Goodby farlan, good riddence, I hope you all break out in sores and fall into a vat of iodine!

    liberal punishment could be devised - a forced  and complete
    sterilization of the dev team and their close relatives.
