I can't imagine it will be ready before July. They're not even in a full Beta yet. But who knows?
I will say that if they take thier time, they could have a WoW killer...

well yeah no game will ever kill WoW too many people spend way too much time playing it i likie what AOC says
this is a game for people who play less then 10 hours a week but however i will be playing for more then 10 hours a week =]

Yes I would prefer they take their time and release a bug-free finished product. I can be patient and wait for it if they are taking their time to make it right.
As far as it being a WoW Killer I doubt it. I do think that it could put a good dent in Blizzard's subscription numbers though. Combine this game with Warhammer and that might be the 1-2 punch that knocks down WoW.
If Funcom had more than one MMORPG release, you might have something to say along these lines. As it is, you have squat. Anarchy Online had a rushed release, AoC is being worked on long enough to properly test the game. They did not have the money then, they do now, they did not have the staff and the connections then, they do now. The relationship between the two game's releases is null and void.
And AO was far from contentless, the issue was, you couldn't get to it.

I'm personally hoping for a Q4 2007 release. Hopefully sometime before next Christmas. As long as there's no major flaws, that should be enough time for this game to be properly tested. If it does release in May-June I'll be skeptical and await others reactions before I buy. That just seems like an awfully short beta period.
All in all though, I'm really excited about this game. Finally some combat that actually looks "FUN"!

I saw the release date on that page and I nearly lost my mind. Either they know something we don't or they're dead wrong, I vote the latter.
