I've been trying to find the right MMO for myself now for about 2 years, and so far I've failed.
WoW was great, until I realized the game is based more on time invested than skill(which didn't take long to realize).
Guild Wars was good, but didn't have a MMO feel to it at all, maybe because it really isn't one.
and EVERY free MMO is just some crappy lvl grind of some sort.
The ONLY game that kept me content was Asheron's Call and that was 4 or 5 yrs ago. I resub'd to it recently and started all over again. Was bored in the first 20 minutes.
Guess I'll just have to wait until next yr and HOPEFULLY one of these new games will be awesome. I'm waiting in Darkfall, if it ever comes.

I highly recommend The Elder Scrolls 4:Oblivion or Gothic 2. Each offer hours and hours of game play to keep you busy.

I totally agree with you on the topic, and I did the exact same thing with AC. Frostfell nowadays has a playerpeak at 250ish at primetime. /Cry
