Darkfall...what...time warp...2001 I believe : Amateurs in a basement , number 4/6? (feel free to check, there are ways to access certain archives)

mmmmm razorwax MERGES with Aventurine SA....(razorwax = 5/6 guys in a basement studio) Tasos Flamgay becomes main PR for Aventurine SA.... :P

Darkfall Online to attend E3 at least 3 times.

No official demo available at E3 or any gaming event.

Aventurine SA, previously established military company cannot hire a fulll staff for darkfall...darkfall online becomes flagship title for company since the "merge".

    Didn't you know? They're going to enlist the most successful guilds in various categories (ie, Organized Military, Guerilla Warfare, Economics, etc) to form an independent mercenary organization. The long wait is to weed out those without mental fortitude; the longer you've waited, the higher you rank in that part of the testing.

    Ok let me guees?  You are the guy from "throne of Mournning" Trying to get people to buy that game, So they can get "scammed" again. Who really cares?  All I care is that the Darkfall developers are taking Their time, Doesn't matter IF it takes another year or 2,  When darkfall is ready, it will be awsome!

You kids like to come out as major MMOG followers but you fall for the most pathetic arguments. Get treated like idiots information wise, get lied to and manipulated. And you still come back begging for more. Licking moderator asses to get a chance to TEST what will most likely be a technical joke, a bug inferno and a lag champion.


    You think you know about vaporware and MMOGs...like having an office proves something? HOW MANY would-be MMOGs were announced since EQ1 and NEVER saw the light of day...search....dozens.

    I mean kids seriously....MnB blade combat...collision detection...manual blocking...huge server clusters...10 000 concurrent clients...this from  a core of developers that are AMATEURS in what is now a multi million dollar industry?

    Stupid... ok anyway I justy wanted to bring up (though i dont know for sure) UO's developers. I know at least some of them, if not most or even all, were brand new to MMORPG's and that game was huge, and extremely fun :) Experience may help, but it certainly doesnt create a good game.

    And I'm not claiming to be an MMO know-it-all like you seem to be, just wanted to point that out :)

    And the perfect example for the experience matter...UO...the game that opened up the genre. Brilliant.

    I suppose your next example would be EQ's lead designer and his "vision" as an unexperienced amateur that happened to be hired by SOE...

    Fenril is the perfect example of someone possessing a frail mind.

    I've never seen anyone with this love-hate affection to something that's not a living, breathing thing or an object of any kind.

    Seems like this thing is still eating him from the inside, this has gone on forever now, I pity him... :(((

    As opposed to moderators that monitor my web activity? To devs that that do traces on my IP? That permanently ban anyone who takes a more critic attitude?

    Yes the DF team are amateurs…yes they have a snowball chance in hell, and also their staff and themselves seem to be AWFULLY concerned about some simple truths being laid down on the table…if their shitty trackrecord with the community wasn’t enough.

When I consume a product I dont go out of my way to defend the companies that offer them in different brands...I am a consumer and always stand on that side.

    Us, Consumers always need to oppose them for their products, so that they can make better products one day. Unfortunately this is not the case for Darkfall, especially, since all they have ever produced is a 7 years old Vapour. Seems people believe that by justifying the unjusfiable, they will get their game faster

    Fenriil just mentioned the obvious here and what he missed were some super fun pictures of that company's offices (that were supposed to be live feeds) showing Acropole 5 years back :p... WITH a time stamp showing it. At least now they connect their company with DF...

    Tasos have alredy stated the rumors of DF beeing vaporware are false.

    So we can relax now.

     

    They know all rumors to, so when a tragic one emerges on the net..they response to it.

    Take a look at the WOW devs.. Plenty of Experience.. I mean, they could do anything with code.. They just suck at vision.. It takes more than experience to make a great MMORPG.. Anything that Darkfall lacks in Experience, they make up for tenfold in Vision!
