  You know it wasn't ment for click and drag. Too much of an effort with a huge black gap in between text and smileys.

  So, yes, this has been fixed; smilies can be added either by single clicking, or drag-dropping.

  Which version of Firefox are you on that it isn't working on?  I'm on 1.5.0.8 and the drag/drop feature works here.  Although the animation stops after dragging/dropping it, but it starts up again once you actually post it.
