The age is starting to show, bigtime...

The graphics are nice, but I still expected a little more for something that is not yet released.  Hopefully they are putting more into content and gameplay.  It remains to be seen how the graphics will appear when you are actually moving through an area and playing.

these screenies actually are showing some artistic side to the game. most of the stuff is just ugly and bland.

  • I kinda agree, the graphics leave something to desire. Then again everquest2 graphics also looked horrible at a standstill, hopfully like everquest2 the key point will be in animation. I would rather have fluidly animated low poly count models, then choppy animated high poly count ones.

Mmm I like what I see. I hope the world of Vanguard will be as magic as these pictures show.

I think they look great.  Every batch of shots they release look better than the ones before.  The prob is screenies aren't always the best way to tell how good a game looks.  Once we can see the sky moving and the environment doin its thing in real time, it will give a much better indication of graphics quality.

Trouble is, 10 minutes after you start playing, the looks of the game will take second place to consideration of how the game actually plays.
