imm thinkgin that one that can turn into a demon
Im very disapointed that its 30 days away from the origional release date and we still only have very limited claass descriptions. We barely know what armor most classes will use and how they will effect gameplay and defense. We have no clue which classes deal the most damage have the most spells we dont really know anything. I have not seen any release of skills or talents and abilities or even spells.
Its a mess in my opinion.
But I will do the same thing in an mmorpg that I have been doing for the past 15 years I have been in it. Play a primary healer, spec it to support/ stay alive. Then have all of my guild mates spec damage dealing tank classes, boot anyone who is a rogue class or archer class, and have a tank heavy group chop things apart!
I have no clue though which healing class fits me. Which healing class offers more "support" than healing? How does the healing work? what armor do the healers wear? Are there instant heals? Mana efficent heals? survivability issues of a primary healer in a melee heavy game?
Guild Wars 2 is my religion
kraiden go onto the AOC website you have a good class discriptions and it tells you what armor they will be able to wear
ps look at the combat system its not really based on skills
and if you want to play a healer they arnt relaly main healers in AOC they wanted to make healing better then just sitting back and pushing your skills till you run out of mana they are more os supports with damage and healing
Liberator or Necromancer
P.S. Needalife, might want to edit that sig. First off because the commands don't work right, and second, you aren't the Warchief.

Alright...Maybe a Bear Shaman ~_~
With the way they are doing ranged combat, I don't know how I would be able to pass up Waylayer! But if I were to pick a non ranged class, Halberdier sounds really exciting. I can only imagine having a guild trying to seige my guild's battlekeep and me standing in a tower or ontop of the wall picking off people one by one as they run in through the gates. Or! Being in the front line AOE slicing the hell out of their front line! With so many classes that sound exciting, I'll probably end up having a ton of alts.

...anyone got a screenshot of what the demon form will look like?
To be honest, I am not really worried about if you like the game or not, because you make yourself sound like an asshole. Worrying about min/maxing your character and including/excluding people from your group based on class and spec. Sounds just like the crap I fought against in DAoC. Don't you like to explore new things instead of knowing everything before the game even starts? Wouldn't it be more exciting for the Devs not to tell us what the armor does and the limits of our characters, so we can find out for ourselves?
Where are you getting your information from regarding the release date? AoC isn't due for release for another 4-6 months at least. A beta also precedes every MMORPG's release, so you know there is quite a few months left.
MMORPG's w/ Max level characters: DAoC, SWG, & WoW
Currently Playing: WAR
Preferred Playstyle: Roleplay/adventurous, in a sandbox game.
Well, the latest intel suggests that it doesn't really have a demon "form" per se as people believed before. From the sound of it, they slowly turn into demons as the progress along the path of corruption, taking on their attributes and appearance bit by bit.
Personally, I prefer that description better than poofing into a hellish form and back again on the drop of a hat.

I have to read up on the classes but whatever one that would be the warrior class.
Barbarian I suppose.
EDIT: Ok after reading up. Im not sure! heh Soldier class for me for sure. But its still wide open. I've narrowed it down to 4 out of the 6 available.
Guardian
Halberdier
Conqueror
Liberator
Out of those 4, I think the two front runners for me are, Halberdier and Conqueror.
