Peace Through Strengthstands for:
  1. An American Military equipped and sized to defeat any adversary
  2. U.S. missile defenses that can intercept and destroy incoming ballistic missiles
  3. Enforceable U.S. borders, including a 700-mile double fence across the smugglers routes in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas
  4. Reversing the one-way street trade policies that are moving the U.S. industrial bases and jobs to China and giving them U.S. dollars to buy military equipment from Russia
  5. Energy Independence for the U.S. that would stop a reliance of overseas petroleum products
  6. Cut off the flow of military technology to our potential adversaries

    As novel as that sounds, the way America is right now it won't be considered "Peace through Strength", it will be considered Dominance through Strength.

    I actually agree with everything he said. That scares me.

    If America actually does this, our country and our allies will be in a much better position in just about everything- militarily and economically (especially economically).

    I feel much better now.  Just showing everyone what is needed for peace.  It is all true.  We also need to strengthen the US in its self.  Family Values are important.

    1. Haha, quite deluted you are.  Israel has the strongest army in the world by far.  China has more man power than any other country in the world.  Russia has more nuclear power than anywhere else in the world.  US does have a great military, but it isn't the best in the world.

    I'm now offically joining the resistance. :)

    And if the US keeps it up there are 6.2 billion people in the resistance soon.

    How shall the battle be fought?

    Not with guns or tanks or planes or anything like that (sorry, outfctrl, no sticks either).

    Simply by doing better than the US in every possible way. :)

    As always I'm talking economics. The more the US back out of the rest of the world and the more the country isolates itself from the world (deplying troops is perfectly possible when you're isolating yourself) the more the world will get by without the US.

    The only one suffering from that is... the US.

    sorry, guy. which 4-letter-word would you use on me (german), if I replace every "american", U.S."-word with "german" or "Germany"?. Would you call me a patriot?

    with at least the 4th point all western/modern lands have their sorrows. The people in china working for almost nothing 16-18h a day, because they HAVE nothing. trade-union? sure not. They do not become old, because of the noxious, unhealthy environment at work.

    Who cares if someone marries a fucking rock? The rock isn't a sentient, living creature that has the right to object to a banding for life.

    On the other hand sheep and dogs are living creatures. But they don't have the ability to say "I do". So here one can draw the line.

    Everyone else should be allowed. I don't see why not.

    4.  Which do you want, capitalism or communist state? If you want to stay capitalist then you have to accept the whole 'lowest bid wins' thing. US already has huge amounts of subsidised produce (for example peanuts) that seem to show it wants a closed market, as well as heavy taxes on Imports (I think there is still heavy fees on some british imports due to us not buying stuff from approved US sources [eg. we still retain strong trade links to commonwealth nations meaning they may be chosen over the US backed supplier]).

    Face facts, businesses are out there to make money, why pay a lazy 1st world idiot 10 times the amount you could pay a hard working asian or eastern european or indonesian, etc? It makes no economic sense. Unless of course you are willing to either pay increased taxes to subsidise your state businesses, or increased cost of those items.
