The Fea trial (EQ2) with old accounts

Right here be the question I have an old account and I would like to see if the lastest expation of EQ is any good HOWEVER I really don't want to wait up to 12 hours JUST to trial it.. any way I can 'install' EQ2 and just patch it up to trial?
Bring on the WARRRRGGHH!

I won't be going back, but I'd already made that decision anyway and it had nothing to do with the trial
