Questions from two nooberoskies.
My girlfriend and I are considering throwing away our freetime and joining the Guild Wars gaming world. However I need to know if we can both play at once. I have a LAN setup at home, but some games dont allow two people online through these. Will it work with GW? I use Roadrunner cable and a wireless router.
Next, where do we start? Are the Factions and Nightfall expansions stand alone, or do we need to purchase the original retail Guild Wars? Or can we just purchase, say, Nightfall and download a client to start playing online?
Also, will we need to copies of the game or can one retail CD create different accounts?

all chapters are stand alone , you can start in any , original , factions or nightfall , my advice is : start in nightfall.

you can download the game from the official page www.guildwars.com , or install the game in endless machines with one cds set , after install the acount is what counts , meaning , 1 acount can play in any computer anywhere , and one box can install the game in endless computers. one of the things i love about guildwars online acount system , if i go travel , all i need is internet connection , i know my user name and password , i download the game in the official page and im in. woot

yea you can play (normaly) with 2 at a time if you got LAN but not if you dont have lan then you can only play with one person at a time
Nigtfall and factions stand alone but if i should be you i should not buy factions because not a very long Rpg nightfall 20missions
and profecies my personal best of the three got 25 mission and much more
If you mean can you both play on the same account no you can't
If you mean can you play on the same LAN, Yes you can as long as it splits the connection and doesn't just forward it.:P
