After reading the news and then the official Voyage Century website, I found in a few places that the launch is for the Beta. Alpha testing just ended, and players who were in Alpha are able to keep their characters for the beta phase. It doesn't look like this is an official launch of the game. It seems to be Open Beta, starting on Dec. 22
I registered and might check it out. Screenshots look nice enough, nothing spectacular. I am interested to see how deep the game is, or if it's just another grinder, only this time out at sea.

So refreshing to actually find out about an mmorpg when it enters the
beta phase as opposed to having to try to decide if it's vaporware or
not.
Checked the forums for this game, there aren't too many topics. It does look pretty interesting though.
I'll wait to see what other (fools ) have to say before I get my feet wet.
I'm all dowloaded and ready to go....From what i have heard from the other beta testers...or alpha testers...this should be a cant miss.
Pay no attention to Xfire...I have yet to figure out why it exist .
Why ?
