Some error in Mega-Holiday Giveaway!

Hi,

I check every day the Mega-Holiday giveaway because I'm very excited about that giveaway.. Now this morning I checked again with the new lay-out.. And I needed to "Enter the contest" another time! So all my logins for (for what, last 20 days) about 3 (three) weeks are gone.. So my winning chance is reduced right? Because "the more days you login, the more chance you've to win 1 (one) of the prizes"..
So to the point; everyone (or only me ::::06::) needs to enter the contest again and you're logins are gone..

    smae for me i just checked it out again and i also had to reeneter the contest - i also fear that all my other login days will be nullified. Any words from the staff ?

    Hey all, actually this is not from the new design but from the crash we had the other day, which caused us to roll back to Dec 9, 2006.  You need to enter the contest again, very sorry!  As for the lost login credits, this is true - but it is this way for everyone so the playing field remains balanced.

    We will also be sending out an email to everyone on our contest alert system about this and letting them know to enter again.

    Very sorry indeed!

    Umm...I went to re-enter and the system says I'm still in...Glitch or am I really  okay?

    The contest started on the 8th so If you entered on the first day it should be fine. The same would apply to people who entered after the crash.

    You are ok then.  Anyone who entered before Dec 9 or after Dec 15 will be 100% ok.  If you entered between these dates your entry and everything else you did at MMORPG.com is completely gone image

    Thx then all my logins is gone ... THX !!!!. How will this be conpensated. we lost the Competionen and thats it ... so is life or what?. --- All posts is gone also... Good.

    I wish there was something we could do to make the data come back, but it is gone.  This event cost us thousands of dollars so I assure you if we could, we would make it all normal again.

    However, losing the logins is not a huge deal, because everyone else did too - so no one has an advantage.

    Again, very sorry for this whole mess...it was far from intentional and we are doing everything in our power to keep it from happening again.

    When i went to check the contest it didn't say that i had to re-enter so i think its just people from the roll back that had to re-enter

    Np Admin i am aware of that this was a lost to you also, but i realy ment what i said ... thats life. sometime it work sometimes it dosnt.. thats it lads. Just live whit it.

    But people joined before 9 dec or after 15 dec are OK, so they still have their logins.. So its some disadvantage tho.. Right? Thnx.. And it sucks :< well you can make it right to make another contest like that one ;)

    Ok, so, if I get thsi right, the contest started on the 8th, site was pushbacked to 9th, which means a few people got 1 entry extra than the rest?

    Well, if they entered on the 8th and you entered on the 9th, they had one more entry than you either way... image
