I h8 people who think its like wow

in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning
i see on hype topics ppl say eww it  is trying to be like wow and it copies wow.... obviously the people have no clue wat warhammer is like and how its based on table top which was born way b4 world of warcraft and if u see comparison photos on some site u seee wow is a lot toonier and in warhammer its more detaul and u see the brutal lok in orcs face so if ppl would actually take time to see the base of WAR,so stop rating it low jsut because u think its gnne b like wow !

    Camels right. If your so bugged with people posting unproductive posts it mite be time to counter them with productive posts.
    Degeneration of a forum is generally voluntarily done by its own members not proactively posting.

    No we do need to keep bringing the subject up, yes its annoying to see many posts defending Warhammer vs WoW since we (the clever folk) know whats what, but tbh i find the "is this wow 2" from somebody whos profile says there 28 so annoying! it makes me  blood boil, its only since ive been using forums more that ive come to realise of how many people on the internet are ignorant, maby thats why the world is so fucked up i dunno :p
     neway, many dont even bother to read the smallest bit of history to back up what the say rather look at 1 or 2 pics then say what they feel, tis rediculas.

    People are idiots if they think WAR is a rip off of WoW. For one Warhammer has been around before WoW was even fathomed. To tell you the truth the people at WoW where once sued by Games Workshop for stealing ideas from Warhammer, so in reality WoW is a rip off of WAR if you think about it.

    and you are saying this why? people have their opinions - let them be heard.
    even if its "War is like wow".
    ignorant people are those who only take one side, and therefore only cover one side of the "arguement" - like you have just done.

    Why do you care about ppl who say those things?
    A lot of ppl will be playing this game if Mythic correctly make it and things like "WAR is a copy of WoW" and e.t.c will not effect playing ppl.

    hell yeah exactly man. WARHAMMER IS 25 years old from what ive read. wow is barely hitting barely half that. Warhammer mythology and lineage is awesome, in depth, deep and filled with more than anyoen could possibly play with in the MMORG when it starts next year. I believe that its safe to say if they wanted to do the full warhammer lineage it would encompass several expansions over the course of 2-3 years easy. I think the route they are going will prove to be a sucessful mmorg when it launches. I am watching carefully on their progress and must admit i am hoping to play this being a major Warhammer fan for a long time and will continue to love it.

    isnt that arguement getting alittle old?
    if i were the guy getting told that shizzle, meanwhile i was trashing talking War about the same stuff, then i wouldnt be quite speechless.
    the people complaining ,are talking about the games.
    World of Warcraft, and WARhammer online.

    so this arguement is worth nothing - imo.

    Hey, which cartoonish MMO came out first? WOW or WAR?

    I'm lost, I thought WAR was an expansion to WOW.

    Nakedone, I don't understand why you think WAR could be cartoonish. I mean, Warhammer Online will be right from Games Workshop and it's more realistic than the cartoonish World of Warcraft. Even though, World of Warcraft didn't just steal from Games Workshop, but from other MMOs! Blizzard do, what I can see, steal from other games and anything, just to make another version faster and such... like Warcraft with Warhammer, and Starcraft with Warhammer 40k...



    And do you know where the orcs of Warcraft came from? That's right! The Warhammer orcs! Orcs weren't green creatures that closely looks like humans with green paint. In tales and such, orcs weren't green at all, and Warhammer created those orcs and called them (together with the goblins) the GREENSKINS. Even if their racename were greenskins, it doesn't need to be so very green and light-green... Orcs in Warhammer World are dumb and dangerous creatures that crushes things (strong things, basically), and they don't talk like humans do.



    Since the greenskins were created, Blizzard copied the greenskins and made them wise and anything else much more weird. Intelligent orcs, now that's not lorish!



    Steal and gets sued, that's what happened to Blizzard. World of Warcraft... an MMO which has copies from other MMO's...



    Go and say Age of Conan is like WoW, every MMOs is like WoW, in WoW-Players' dang opinion!



    Let them say whatever they want, they're just annoying bugs.



    Even though, the Warcraft games are fun, mostly the Warcraft 3 custom games. I did play World of Warcraft, but I've quitted that game.



    Even if it's copies from Warhammer, it's fun to play, Blizzard got their money, everyone's happy. Looking foward to Warhammer Online.
