I just viewed some posts from 2003, pretty much no one that posted there still posts today. Just a random question, will you be posting on this website in 2 years from now?
Over the last year and a half Ive gone from 32 hours a week gaming to maybe 8 hours. IF a good enough game came out to hold my attention Ill be here. Progressively though the quality of games compared to the past is decreasing in my opinion. Increasingly games like Spore and The Sims 2 which are social experiences thru community sharing are taking my attention. I do suspect Ill be here though. Just not much.
When I first got here I remember the World of Warcraft issue with the gay friendly guilds. I started posting on some of those threads that were debating that topic and was for the most part impressed at how people here were handling the topic.
But lately it seems a new lot of people have come that aren't much into debate so much as being immature with name calling and labeling. For example, the other day I sat through reading someone call homosexuals limp wristed and the such. I'm not sure how they thought this would strengthen their position anymore than a straight person grouping all heterosexuals as sports watching rednecks. But apparently they thought demeaning a group of people with derogatory comments was a debate skill. I thought it was pretty disrespectful and mean spirited seeing as some of the people in the discussion were gay.
I'm not just talking about that topic either I have seen it go on with everything from gaming styles to which game someone likes to play to politics in general.
There are some members here I really dig, like modjoe, Riki, Upallnight, Xexima, Nierro, baff, etc. And there are some that I wish were still here, like AlexAmore. But if the trend keeps heading in the direction it's been heading lately I won't hang around too much longer.
There are a ton of forums on the Internet and although it takes a while to get into the swing of a new forum family, at times it's worth it.
Unless I get fired and banned.... which is not improbable

I was here three years ago, but as most things on this site's forum are simply the same old shit repackaged and rebranded has a tendency to make one search for greener woods and pastures anew.
There's a few stones left unturned here. Feel free to find them.
I've also been here a while. I tend to hang out here more when I'm in MMO limbo and looking for a new game, but I should still be here in a couple years, hopefully chating more in the Developer's Corner if you know what I mean.
I'd have more posts to show for my 3 years of loyalty to this site, but, frankly, I seem to find better conversation when I'm on more specialized forums (ones devoted to a certain game).

As for your question, probably. My oldest post was July 2004.
Probably not in a posting on the forum capacity. But as long as I play MMO's I'll use the site to keep up with news and updates.
Now if things don't go according to plan at all, then I'll still be here. *knocks on wood*

It depends on the games that the devs make.
It seems a likely guess to say that I would still be around....and I will prolly still be ranting about raiding.
If I ain't around, it prolly means that I found a good game, which is all for the better.
My "departure" from the site is planned with BioWare's MMO release, and you know how plans turn out; don't you?
