Hey im an old horizons player. I played since release ten left for a year but never canceled my subscription. Then i came back for a year and left again :P. Anyway i just came back and decided to just cancel my account because I cannopt afford it anymore + lag is unbearable. Well its not so easy because i cannot find where to unsuscribe! the account info page and subscription details page has no way to unsuscribe on it. If sommeone would give this moron a pointer in the right direction it would be appreciated.

Dumb question, but did you post this on the HZ offical forums too?You *may* get a more pertinent answer there.
umm thanks for absolutely not answering my question :P no i didnt btw probabaly should have lol :P.
reason is because i was already logged iunto these forums reading when i tried to unsuscribe i was reading here about the fraud ect so i hadnt been on horizons forums for ages so i decided to post here as i was already here.
I did answer your question. You've just found excuses not to pay heed to it.
So I suggest googling Pay By Touch finding out their phone number and giving them a call and cancelling it that way.
Right now PME is in violation of several federal laws and despite their change over to a state with lax corporate laws I doubt Montana's AG is going to give them any leeway at all.
Even after you cancel it with PBT there is still a good chance that PME/EII will bill it manually themselves.
All you have to do is tell your bank or credit card company to deny any charges from them as you have canceled the service...
Well in some countries its not that easy.I recall having an issue with gamespy charging me after i cancelled and tried to block it from my CC in the UK.
I was told that i could not without completely cancelling that card and they sent me another.Apparently in UK it only works with debit cards at least for barclays lol. With a CC you need to cancel it totally and get issued a new one which is a hassle if you got other things on monthly subs on the card.
I was lucky to finally get gamespy to stop billing me and avoid the stress of cancellation.
