This topic may be beaten to death but.. Best PvP game out?

Let me preface this by saying that I play MMOs for PvP.  I am not a lowbie ganking, griefer, or any other make you wanna quit the game type of PvPer.  I do however GREATLY prefer Open PvP for a game that I am playing. 



Games that I have played that I like the PvP in:



1) Shadowbane - All time fav

2) WoW - Fun arena style PvP

3) Eve - Truly hated this game

4) DaOC - Decent enough game thought not really for me

5) Lineage 2 - Too much Grind



Any other suggestions aside from the aforementioned 5?



I really appreciate any help finding a new game.

    If you enjoyed WoW's arena pvp, you might enjoy Guild Wars.

    I'd say, there is no best PVP.

    Every game is different no PVP is the same.

    Depends on your playstyle I'd say.

    Ya. Just trying to get some new ideas.  I actually bought guildwars when it first came out.  Dont have the CD anymore but apparently I can DL the client from them so trying that out.



    Dark: Any ideas I could try out for any sort of PvP?

    guildwars and EvE are good for anyone that likes PvP, not one or the other but both.

    I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.

    Eve hands down. It requires a brain,  it's not all about kicking the shit out of each other in a fleet battle (although most of it is). To truly defeat your enemy in eve, you have to cut off their supply lines, make it difficult for them to import  battleships, modules, star bases and export their minerals and loot. Disrupt their industrial operation as much as possible, force your enemies industrialist to stay docked in station  so they can't build. Spread propaganda to demoralize your enemy while increasing your own, turn your  minor victories into devastating losses for your enemy. A few nights ago my alliance leader said, The best way to kill another alliance is to move in with them, make them scared of even undocking.
