Concerning Horizons.

I was wondering if the new owners of this failing MMORPG actually did a good job and reserected this failing game and fixed its problems would you try Horizons again or play it for the first time. I have to say i would because it did at least have some inovative ideas within it.

    Played it for a while when it was fresh released.

    Very nice crafting/housebuilding-system and player-driven economy. But the world was rather empty.
    I tried to join again a half year ago, but there was always an error message.

    So my answer: i eventually would, but they don´t let me. ;)

    At this point the character classes would need a COMPLETE overhaul.   And the spawn system as well as the quest system would need major overhauls as well.

    Unfortunately I had to vote no way would I ever go back.



    The problems with Horizons started on early in development.  The original creative mind behind Horizons, David Allen, got axed and the game was completely reworked.  From that point on the game went horribly awry.  Though I am very interested in Allen's new project.. .Crusade or something like that.

    I wouldn't mind downloading a trial and giving it a shot again.  I played when it first came out and I enjoyed many aspects of the game.

    I would not mind to play a 14 day free trial or so again. I liked the game as I first tried it. Was  neat to play a dragon, hehe

    I really liked this game when it came out it after all ahd a flying class [3 guesses who lol]. And i found some of its other systems pretty interesting too. My main problem with it tho was the insane lag you got alter on in populated areas.

    I beta tested it and played for a while.  Besides it needing a lot of updating,  like someone mentioned, (I've turned into a questy sort of person these days)  I don't think I'd trust this company with my credit information.  So, no.  It doesn't seem to be a completely separate entity from the old, incompetent sounding company.
