Something has disturbed me in the recent holiday events that have occured in Guild Wars, namely Halloween and the Wintersday events. Both Elona and Tyria have been decked out and have special events but Cantha has not been. I could almost understand no Halloween in Cantha since there was the Dragon Festival but no Wintersday events seen a little biased. With Guild Wars campaigns being "stand-alone" why not allow people who may only own a single campaign to participate. I would love to hear some constuctive feedback about this.

It was done Purposely because most people in Guildwars have Prophs, And not everyone as factions.
But the only thing that disturbs me is I went to buy Factions from EB Games and they said they won't have any until January 9th because they only are ordering Nightfall + The original Guildwars. That made me mad because i need a Factions key for my Storage account :P
Finally, the correct answer.
A lot of people have been crying foul since Factions Only players get left out on Halloween and Wintersday, but they get Day of the Tengu and the Dragon Festival, which no other game gets.
Likely, this will be the case with each game as they're released. If they're closer to Tyria and Elona, then they get Halloween/Wintersday. Otherwise, they get Day of the Tengu/Dragon Festival or something like that.

Day of the Tengu took place on 4-26-2006. To my knowledge, there haven't been any hints from the devs about whether or not this will be an annual event. The Dragon Festival was from 6-30-2006 to 7-5-2006 (and will probably be the same date next year).
