I think so too, maybe they get them another name, but it will be one of those big barbarians with no brain, no armor, and just one big weapon lol

Oh and as for the Zealot, i think it will be more alike the Priest of Sigmar than like the witch hunter, and the chosen is probably the tank of chaos as the knight of the sun is the tank for the empire... but that's just my opinion

I think it is unlikely that the last class be a Marauder, for the simple reason that they are the most basic troops in a Chaos army - just like state troops are for the Empire. The Chosen were Marauders themselves once, but they were favored by the Gods and given their armor to become Chaos Warriors, and then they ascended into the Chosen status after making the Four even happier. A random marauder wouln't stand a chance fighting a Warrior Priest one on one. If it wasn't the fact that Mythic already gave us a list of playable races, I would've thought that they'd include Tzaangors...  Unfortunately, Beastmen were not on the list and we'll rather see them as NPCs (http://demonwinner.free.fr/usa/2006Baltimore/golden_demon_winner.php?categorie=5)

I think that the last class will, just like the zealot, be something completely new. I was personally very impressed with the druidic madman, and I trust that GW can make up something equally cool and lore-friendly as the last Chaos class.

Blazing Knight of the Sun vs ???

So there is one class left to show off for Chaos ? What will it be ?

That's some really weird pairings you've got there. From all signs I've seen, the class pairings are:

Knights of the Blazing Sun - VS - Chosen of Tzeench (Tank class)

Warrior Priest - VS - Zealot (Support)

Bright Wizard - VS - Magus (Ranged DPS)

Witch Hunter - VS - ???? (Melee DPS)

ANd the chaos Melee DPS class will very, very likely be some kind of Marauder-esque class. Probably something resembeling the "Choppa" class for greenskins. A medium armoured, dual/twohander-wielding berseker class.

I really don't think there's any right way to specify class pairings because none of the classes released really mirror another. Paul has said that there won't be any copycat classes...they will all be unique in playstyle and ability. And I most certainly wouldn't list the Warrior Priest as a support class.

daoc has more classes than any other mmo ive ever seen, and reasonaly balanced at that. They have so much information on what classes work well and what combinations dont work so well its amazing.

i am certain that the 24 classes they provide will be very unique, and well suited in the game.

The class are not completely identical copies of eachother, no. But there's definitive roles that they fit into. Just look at Dwarfs and Greenskins classes. They both have a Tank class, which is big an armoured. They both have a melee DPS class, which is less armoured and more focused on weapon usage (Hell, both are named after a weapon). They both have a class that does support magic. Only classes that aren't completely comparable classes (as far as we know) are the Engineer and Squig Herder. But that's mostly because the Squig Herder is such a crazy class.

Take the Knight of the Blazing Sun and the Chosen of Tzeench. Both a big, heavy-armoured classes. And both are described as fighting strongly with their feet off the ground. Which most take to hint strongly at mounted combat specifically for those two classes.

Then there's the Bright Wizard and the Magus. One is described as a pyromaniac that generally likes to blow stuff up. The other likes to fly around and shoot stuff with lightening. Both are magic-based concepts that are built around shooting magic damage. Ranged DPS if I ever saw it.

Warrior Priest and Zealot... This is the support classes. They're just not support classes in the traditional "sit in the back and heal" type of way. Look at hte Greenskin Shaman, the support class of Greenksins. He has to use offensive spells to build up Waagh in order to unlock his support magic. Warrior Priests are described as beating people with hammers and then blessing thier allies. See a resemblance? And the Zealot class has been described as attacking people with birds and healing. They're the support classes. Just support as Mythic wants it.

We're left with the Witch Hunter and the unknown chaos class. The Witch Hunter is described as "all-out attackers who disdain defense". They just scream melee DPS.

So, all that's missing is a chaos class to balance out the Hunters. I say Marauder. Or at least something Marauder-like. A class called something like "Berserker", "Ulwerner" or soemthing.

Well, sure it can't be a common Marauder, but we'll probably get something like him, with different name maybe (Chaos Berserker or smth) - it can be big (i mean really BIG) barbarian with even bigger axe - and here we are :)

Little edit, 'cause Swordman has posted while I was still writing: I see we have same theory to the Marauder and his "name" ;) Well I hope you've guessed, and u r right :P

Basically if the Chosen is a Tank, I am sure the 4th class will be a Melee DPS career and if the Chosen is more Melee DPS, than I am sure the 4th career will be a more obvious Tank.

It might be neat to see a Chaos version of a Squig Herder, except using hounds of chaos or something. I think it would be cool to have a pup start with you, and watch it grow as you level, and maybe looking different depending on some external factors - maybe based on the type of enemy you fight. Hounds trained to fight humans might have bigger jaws to tear out throats, or hounds trained to kill might have a larger upper body to knock dwarfs over. Obviously I am getting way to detailed, but I think it might be real neat to see a game that already gives you a differing appearance depending on level and amount of pvp kills, just add that extra splash.

Or they could just make a marauder chieftan.

Last Chaos class will not be a simple marauder. Just look at the way Mythic choses to reveal classes, they start with the obvious classes per race, then to reveal the more unique once. Look at dwarfs, first Tank and DPS, then 'mage' class and last the most unique Engineer. Greenskin the same, first tank and DPS, then also the mage class and last the unique Squig herders.

Empire, first the obvious mage and tank/support class, then the tank class and last is again the most unique class: Witchhunters.

So I think it will be some kind of unique class that won't be comparable to any other class.

I'm curious what the last class could be as well.

However, the Chosen appears to be the only melee class so far.  The magus is very likely ranged "mage"-style, and the zealot also seems likely to be more ranged.

If the new class is not melee, I wonder how Chaos ranks will look in a large battle.  Unless more people play Chosen than all the other classes, wouldn't the melee of other races overwhelm the single Chaos melee and rush their casters?  This of course assuming fights are more similar to other MMOs; if it varies, this point may be moot.

While I always love unique and hybrid classes, I am thinking the next class will be similar to a melee DPS class.  However, other melee or melee-ish classes would work.  A pet class with multiple pets out at once that are all melee could provide at least a substitute for less melee.
