    Currently it's the only good 2d mmorpg... though ghost online will hopefully be made one of these days...



    Maplestory like every other mmo rpg on the market is a grind with quests of go kill x of that... but, it's cute...

    Might i suggest Pirate King Online? its not 2D but yea it is cutish type of game with a almost top down look. Grind, well yes there is some but tis fun and you can get a ship of your own and sail the seven seas...pretty interesting.

    Maple story is quite fun. Much grinding but it's not "click the monster and enjoy your life while waiting to the monster to die" style. It's quite fun. And it's FREE.

    Maple story is a great game for younger gamers. At 18 i played it with a little cousin and felt completly out of place. Its a game where of your 14 your considered old.



    that being said, if your 14 or under its simple, its fun and its addictive. Its got the cash shop which can be fun. Its a solid game with a big fanbase.

    The game has a high lamer quotient as well. Of course, that may not stop you.

    I couldn't play this game for more than a few days at a time, I rarely play it now because it is really childish in a cute way, this is a game that my cousins who are 7-11 year olds play, so much for the 13 years or older only (younger playing with consent forms), they might as well make it a 13 year or youngers can play while older than 13 has to have a consent form! What's the point of security of the players when only little children are playing and older people can't be asked to even look a t this game? I would however reccommend you give it a try because you never know it might match your age level and you may like it.

    Maple Story is just about killing monsters, don't even start playing it - it's far from worth playing.
