race and weaponry

in Stargate Worlds

i wonder how the weaponry will work out because the asgard dont really use hand held weapons i carnt see them running around with a jaffa staff weapon or p90's also replicators dont use weapons

    Well, the Asgard may not be a playable race.  Although they've been mentioned, and it mentions them as playable in the FAQ (which is olf), recent statements at least gave me the impression that they won't be playable.  This may be because, as you said, they don't really use hand weapons or do fighting themselves.  They would have to be limited to their spaceships.  And right now it looks like spaceships may not be available at game release, making the asgard rather hard to play.

    I think that somehow they'll find a way to implement melee battle.  Fists, Knives, Wraith feeding, occasional branches in show.... anyways.  Lets just see what they come up with and to those who say i'll just feed on you... If you're gonna take some years offa my life, im priming a grenade and taking you with me!

    For Now the Wraith will not be use able. The only races are Humans, Jaffa, Goa’uld, and Asgard. That's not saying that they won't update it later to let people play as other races such as: Wraith, and Ori. I don't know about you, but I would love to play as an Ori

    i feel as a big fan of SG that ori ect would be a grate way to enhance the game as you could do a simler seting as wow with horde and ally if u had ancient ascendant liek humans and the jafa ect... then anuther section of races for ori gowold sorry dont no the spelling ect would make grate pvp and all round more fun game
