Ok guys before I can give an accurate analysis of DR I must let you guys know where I am at as far as my gaming experience. I have played all the big mmo's including Everquest II / World Of Warcraft / Dark Age of Camelot / Dungeons and Dragons / EvE online / Star Wars Galaxies. I have also played numerous F2P and free trial gamms that include Hero online / Knight Online / Mu Online / Rganarok / ShadowBane / Legend of Ares / Tantra / Last Chaos / Deicide / Silkroad Online / Risk Your Life 2 / Anarchy Online / Xiah / Carpe Diem / Archlord / Rapplez / Ferentus / Regnum / Rubies of Eventide / Thang Online / with many others that would take too long to list here. So with this I give you my view of the latest craze Dun geon Runners:
Pro---Very Light heated satyircal interaction with npcs. The loot is also very amusingly named for things that contradict each other.
Pro---5.00 a month for a premium account. I mean for any mmo with a decent size following today charges around 10-15 bucks.
Pro---Vast instanced dungeons. Never having to fight with another player for a Quest spawn...ahhhh peace of mind
Pro---The cartoony graphics are siomehwat dated but realy for this type of game they fit into the scheme perfect.
Pro---instant satisfaction! Delve right into a dungeona andd start crawling to the bottom. the mobs drop so much loot it isnt even funny
Pro---Oversized and unique weapons graphics. You will be laughung your ass off at the way some of the weaps look, but thats 1/2 the fun
Pro---Any class can use any armor and any skill from another class. This makes for some very unique charatcers.
Con---Not unique armor looks ( at least I can tell @ level 22) so alot of people running around looking the same
Con---quests a bit too easy with little or no challenge to complete them.
Con---Some server stability issues but that may be corrected while in the beta stage
Con---no depth all you do is pretty much dungeon crawl for gear. No crafting / faction building / pvp / large scale PvE
Con--- repetitive. Gets repetitive pretty quick b/c of the lack of depth
Con---only 1 race and 2 classes avaliable to play at this time so alot less dirverse community ( all humans lol)
All in all I gave the game 7 because it is differnet and it does try to actually make gameplay fun. It needs more depth for any serious gamer to committ to it. worth a try but will get bored with it real quick

Thanks for the post.
I was wondering about this game, buit from reading the web-site www.dungeonrunner.com it seems that quite fun. I definitly like the toony graphics.
I've only started looking at this game and I personally like what I see, I'm also a bit long in the tooth when it comes to MMO's and have played or beta'd more games than had hot dinners, so the fact that this game is something of a distraction rather than a full time hardcore event packed gotta sit at my PC for 12 hrs non stop to get epic loot is something that will be somewhat revitalising , I can afford to put my brain back in it's box and just Hack and Slash my way through various Dungeons.
It's also a delight to see companies looking at different subscription packages and for the players to know that they can either pay for the premium content or just buy the game off the shelf and play without paying for the basic game, much like Runescape, I've already got my 11yr old son and his friends looking at this game eagerly as the next step up from Runescape and I don't mind paying the pittance of a subscription and it will make a nice break for me from my current MMO aswell.
I understand it has limits but I'm sure they will continually expand on this product, personally speaking I think NCsoft may have a diamond in the making with this one.
Sounds a bit like the solo player game Fate.
Thanks for the comments

Ahh! Fate!
The funnest dungeon crawler since diablo II. I also have enjoyed customizing it a great deal. If Dungeon runners is as fun as Fate, The multiplayer aspect will knock my socks off. Now I am even more anxious to get an invite.
Can players fight players?
Question
Will Dungeon Runners offer player versus player (PvP) opportunities?
Answer
Players will not be able to fight other players when Dungeon Runners is launched. However, we plan to bring a form of player versus player (PvP) combat into the game at some point in the future. (Dungeon Runners is currently in its beta testing period and, as such, all information posted here is subject to change.)
